  3. So cheap I'm going to ship it to him in a Cap'n Crunch cereal box. what do you expect when you start it at .99? because of you, gpa went down on that book. And I'm all broken up over it too. I always run a true auction with no reserves. dont sell any silver keys please

  5. I have had too many sold item sit at a UPS and USPS distribution centers so tracking #'s are a godsend to avoid the wrath of a buyer. It also eliminates the negative on slow shipping comment that has gotten numerous people kicked off as sellers. I only use priority mail flat rate envelopes now as it comes with tracking and insurance for up to $50 for free. People complain about the price being $5.60 for a single book to be shipped sometimes but it is the peace of mind that is worth the price. Plus if you are a power seller and top rated seller, it only costs you $4.95 which is the break even point almost. Stopped selling to Canada after some rare Zenescope variants never showed up but then the buyer magically had the same copies of the books to sell and eBay and paypal would not do anything about it. why not just use first class for a single book? cheaper for both buyer and shipper and tracking is free. side note, why do some people still not print postage through ebay? Personally, I ship 1-2 comics via 1st Class Mail for $2.95 and 3-5 comics via Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope for $5.95 from my eBay store within the USA. And I normally ship comics to Canada and all other international locations via 1st Class Mail International envelope. And all of my eBay sales are shipped and postage paid through eBay as well. 1st Class is way cheaper and great for cheap books internationally. If you are shipping $$ books 1st class you wont do it forever trust me. Also you better protect the heck out of your books if ship 1st class because its going to take alot longer to get there and will handled more. 1st class has gone up considerably since the USPS updated their shipping in Jan. I still get hate email from Canadians about the change in shipping, but I calmly explain to them it ain't my fault. 1st Class US I just wont do for all types of issues, but mainly because I put alot of cardboard when I ship my comics and the weight goes up. Its always a cheap option for 1 or 2 books you dont care about if they get beat up. +1
  6. 7 ounces in an envelope. 11 ounces in an S-342, which most of us grade junkies should be shipping in anyway.

  8. i bought a huge spidey run from someone whose father was in the service. there were a lot of MJ inserts. his father bought them off the rack, in the states.
  9. saw the pills on the floor, thought you were house of comics
  10. why do you think that? i always thought it helped. i think, not certain, that moderns are usually collected by people just starting collecting comics, again, not certain. saying stan lee's signature on a silver age book in the silver thread, they might agree with you. i feel the younger collector who cant afford the high grade hulk 1 or af15 would settle for a $100 superior spiderman 9.8 by stan lee. im know im probably wrong but i see what his signatures on a raw bootsie book goes for so, iono.
  11. they would put a green label on it. Is it still yellow if they mis-labeled it? Or was it not noticed at and should be a green label? I haven't heard of this happening. Thats a good question. I would re-send it back if it would get the proper yellow label. If not, I will just keep at blue label rather than that green label. if they can trace it back to your initial invoice, they will give it a yellow. if they cant, it will be green.
  12. Seriously? OK... Day Men #1 is a regional shop variant. A variant commissioned for sale at a single venue. Phantom are group variants. A variant commissioned for sale at multiple venues. Get it? elitist...
  13. mess looks amazing but wiebe, more grim leaper. i shouldnt have to say this again.
  14. Use the sales flyers from the grocery store and stuff a few and I do mean a few of them in the box, use medium priority non flat rate boxes, the print out your shipping labels from ebay. Last CGC book I mailed to PA cost me $5.78 and one to CA cost me $9.88. Then I walk over the mail box on the street and drop it in Do you print on actual peel labels for this, or just print to paper and tape it securely on the box? (Havent tried either) Thanks either way is okay. i bought a zebra lp2844 because printing labels through a regular printer eats too much ink. now i never have to buy ink because of labels. and labels are free with a ups or fedex account.
  15. So Superman will laser eye everyone, while not being affected by bullets, punches, or energy blasts. And Batman will...........give him moral support and possibly a bagel sandwich?? someone doesnt read superman or batman But seriously though, I mean, in comics, they tend to make it look like the "ordinary" man can stand toe-to-toe with the big guys. When you have Hawkeye, Daredevil, Batman, etc. and then you have threats/or beings like Magneto, Thanos, Superman, Ms.Marvel, ANY cosmic hero/villain, no, in real life they're not holding their own. I don't care HOW smart and/or skilled you are. Comics draw the stroy out, even the playing fields at times, build drama, eventually have the good guys win. And obviously it makes for a better story. In reality though, if things went down how they would, the powerful enemies could literally annhilate half of the heroes in like two seconds. (and vise-versa with powerful heroes vs........Stilt man? The Chameleon?? Vulture?? Mystique?? Lex Luthor?? i somewhat agree. But batman isnt an ordinary man and its because of how smart and skilled he is that makes him a threat to everyone. i mean ra's al gul ran through justice league only with the help of batmans files. because of how smart he is, he probably has kryptonite toothpaste, hair gel, etc just in case supes tries to act the fool

  17. negative. i ship to canada at cost. i print label cost on shipping label to prove i dont take advantage of canadian customers. if they overpay, i refund the amount when i print the labels. i also refund shipping back to me so its not that either. he is a scam artist, no if, ands, or buts about it. block him everyone. and you, as a seller, can not leave negative feedback.
  18. Do you recall his name? his name is guerrierhabs http://www.ebay.com/sch/guerrierhabs/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686 Look at his feedback left for others or read about him in the general forum. He buys slabs and finds something wrong with them, and then wants some form of compensation in return. Meanwhile, if you look at his listings, he points out that he doesn't take returns on CGC graded books. Oh the hypocrisy. This is written at the beginning of every listing he makes: FRAUDULENT EBAYERS WILL BE REPORTED TO EBAY AS WELL AS PAYPAL AND THE AUTHORITIES OF MY CITY AND THE BUYER'S CITY. EVEN FOR 20$ I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST ANYONE, IN THE CANADA OR U.S. AS I ONLY SHIP TO NORTH-AMERICA. I TAKE PICTURES OF THE ITEM BEFORE AND DURING THE PACKAGING AND I KEEP THE PICTURES TO MYSELF IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG. I ALWAYS SHIP WITH INSURANCE AND TRACKING SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHERE THE PACKAGE IS AT ALL TIMES. NO ONE HAS EVER GOTTEN AWAY WITH FRAUD ON ME. I KNOW EVERY TRICK IN THE BOOK. 1ST TIME EBAYERS AND THE ONES WITH LESS THAN 10 TRANSACTIONS NEED TO CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL THEIR BID. I DO NOT SHIP OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA. I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON CGC ITEMS SINCE THEY ARE GUARANTEED BY CGC. PERIOD. who would want to deal with this clown? what do you mean? he's 100% for over 200 transactions, that's not easy to do.... you can't neg buyers... he conned me for $30 on a sale. called my house from canada about it. said there was something wrong on a book i sold him, told him to send it back and he said he would leave negative fb so i just gave him a refund. block this guy.
