Ask anyone who subs a lot of books to CGC - there's no preferential treatment. I had two different 30 book modern FT invoices from ECCC; one sat around for almost 10 days longer than the other one, even though they were subbed at the same time and under the same tier. CGC is trying to get books out the door as fast as possible right now which is why we're seeing books received on the same day ship out at varying intervals. +1 my prescreens leave at different times. i have 6 invoices at cgc right now, all received at the same time. 4 are modern fast tracks 1 is economy fast track and the other is standard. 1 of the modern fast tracks is coming back and the others are still there. i sub a lot and i don't get preferred treatment. they really are working to get it under control, not there yet but working on it. still would be nice to get rebates though

the price is too high. the book isn't slabbed, there is already a numerical grade attached, although i still dont know what the spoon a 9.75 is. if anything, that copy will sell on ebay for $50-60. a slabbed 9.8 copy will probably hit around $100-110. gpa shows $120. most dont want to chance grading it themselves and have it come back a 9.6 or worse. $80 + grading fees. dont assign numerical/cgc grades to your books, you never know what will happen.

The newsstand/UPC copies are certainly less in number and grade, but have never gained any traction. You are absolutely correct. 30 something years, same as mark jewelers. Maybe it will take another 20 years for it to catch, but most likely not.

My Modern FT was received on April 4, and it's only "Scheduled for Grading." I wonder why yours is stuck there? I would have thought a 4/4 receive date would have been shipped/safe already. Apparently, they told me mine was placed in the regular track box, but when I asked for compensation, they said there would be none because my invoice was still within the estimated TATs, which it is not. The current and estimated TATs listed are 10 days. did they specify what the estimated TAT was to them if it wasnt 10 days?

Reduces the estimated turnaround times by half". what if you are not a dealer and you pay for membership and submit through website? the information only on the forms doesnt exist to those members. neither does the information about refunds/rebates.

sucks they wont refund you or give you a rebate. cant they get sued for that. i only ask because im am 100% positive they wont refund or give a rebate. i gave up trying to get a refund from earlier this year/late last year.
