The Walkthrough tier fee would be a minimum of $150 or 3% of the declared value (whichever is greater). This fee would be due for pressing as well as grading.   6. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Yes, as long as the order was delivered by the cut off date then there is no problem. Generally, there are at minimum a few weeks if not much longer between the cut off date and the actual signing date to allow us time to open and log in all the submissions for a particular signing.   7. Hello, thank you for your message. I am sorry if you weren't able to get in touch with us yesterday. Our hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. I do see that this invoice was scanned out for shipping. I'll check with our shipping department to see what is going on. Sometimes FedEx fails to scan a package on their end when they pick it up from us so that could be what happened in this case. I'll see what our shipping department advises. Thank you,

If the original signature was not witnessed by an authorized witness, it would not be able to get a Signature Series label. If you have him sign at a different event with witnesses, then the book will receive a qualified signature series label like this: Thank you!

  15. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Payment for all submissions is due upon receipt of your order. We process those payments once your order is logged in and verified. The paperwork then goes down to accounting to be charged. The length of time it will take for an order to reach that point in the process will vary depending on the tier you have selected. An order under a Faster tier like Express or Walkthrough will see the charge much faster than something like Economy as that tier has a much longer turnaround time and the process in general will take longer for those tiers. Packages are sorted at the warehouse level upon arrival and we try to give properly marked packages priority as Walkthroughs and Expresses are more time-sensitive than other tiers. *Please note, with the high volume of expedited packages received it can still take several days or longer to be logged into the system after being pulled. Without the package being marked clearly with EX or WK it is stored with other submissions received from that date waiting for our receiving team to process them. Packages are processed in the date order they are received. Once your package is opened, it will be processed under the tier selected. We are currently opening regular mail from the week of March 21st so there would be a little delay of maybe a week or two until you see that in the system. Thank you!

The general rule of thumb for a missing page would be that the graders will qualify it if the rest of the book is a 3.5 or better and just give it a universal label of .5 if the rest of the book would grade under 3.5. We will notate the missing page on the label. If you have a preference, you can always put that on a sticky note and add that with the book and the graders will try to accommodate as best they can.     $150 credit?

    Hello, the $150 membership credit does apply towards regular Signature Series grading fees but does not apply towards our Private Signings. Thanks!

Yes, if you are a Premium or Elite member, you will receive a $150 membership credit towards your grading fees if you selected comics as your primary collecting interest. When you sign up, you have the option to select coins, paper money, comics or cards and the credit will apply to whichever collectible you selected. Please either call or email us with your customer number and/or invoice number and we can check into that further for you and if the credit was not applied, we can make sure that is refunded back for you. If you sent the book in to be regraded then it will have a new certification number on the label. The book will only retain the original cert number if it was submitted for a reholder.   21. Good morning, Thank you for your message. CGC doesn't provide values or do appraisals on books, unfortunately. You could take your book to a comic dealer and have it appraised. You could also check online auction sites to see what similar books in a similar condition have sold for recently. The value we ask you for is an insurance value, a number you would feel comfortable with in terms of a replacement value if your book was lost or damaged while with us. Each tier of service covers up to a maximum specified insurance level and you must choose a tier of service which will accommodate the declared value for your item. CGC Services & Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com) We do encourage you to be conservative as we do not reimburse you if you over-value your book. In the event that your book was grossly under-valued, we would contact you to bump the book to a higher grading tier and you would just pay the difference in the grading fees at that time. When you send those in, just notate on the packing slip to ship back together with the other order number and we will tag the two together in our system so that if one is done before the other we will hold it until they are both completed and send them back together.
