We do not appraise or assign value to the books submitted to us for grading. You could check online to see what similar books are selling for to get an idea or you could take the book to a comic dealer and have it appraised.     Good morning, Thank you for your message. The shipping method you select on your online form is the return shipping method. This is how we will send your books back once completed. We do not send shipping labels for you to submit your books. Customers will have to pay for shipping both ways. You can send your books to us using any shipping method you prefer. Thank you!
  5. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, the $150 membership credits do not carry over from year to year. The credit will expire when your membership does. If you renew at the Premium or Elite levels, however, you would receive a new $150 credit for the new membership year. Thank you!

  7. As long as your order was received before your membership expired, the old credit would still be applied. You can check with customer service to make sure that previous credit is still on your account if you do not think it was applied.   8. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we could not encapsulate anything that would have pieces that would come off inside the holder. We could not include any separate pieces of the cover inside the slab so if you do send the book in, I would not include any pieces that are not attached. Thank you!
  9. Hi, you won't see the $150 credit on your packing slip as the online form is not a live form. You are not charged anything until your order is received here in the office. The $150 credit is linked to your internal Collector's Society account and that credit will be deducted from your grading fees automatically when your order is received and the paperwork sent to accounting. If you see your charges have gone through and you feel the credit was not applied, please let us know and we can double check that with accounting. Thank you!

The only way to ensure a faster turnaround time would be to select a higher tier that has a faster time.   11. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately we can't do a grade screening for just one book. The grade pre-screen has a minimum of 25 books to qualify. You can send in your book for a regular regrade and our graders can re-examine it but there is no guarantee that the grade would change and regular grading fees would apply in that case. You would just submit the book as you would any raw book for grading. You can keep it in the CGC holder and we can crack it out here on our end. If you have any other questions, please let us know.   15. Hi Greg, Thank you for your email. No, unfortunately, there is no guarantee that your book would grade the same with CGC. We do not have a grade crossover service for comics so there is the possibility that the grade could change. Signatures verified with another company would not receive the CGC signature series. The only way to receive a CGC signature series label is for an authorized CGC witness to witness the actual signing or if it comes directly from the artist with the appropriate creator agreement form.   16. Hello, thank you for your message. The Chris Claremont signing just happened a few days ago so the order is still in process. Once it is signed it then goes to CCS for pressing and then over to CGC for grading. It will be approximately 8 weeks until that is completed. Thank you!

  18. Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for your message. No, it wouldn't cause it to be rejected or delayed. You can use a window bag with a large cut out like this (see below). But if you put it in a regular bag that would be fine too. Thank you!

You will see your order logged in prior to it being signed but that doesn't mean they have started the pressing process. In this case, your order was just logged into our system on 4-22 and is now waiting to be signed. Once it is signed then it will go in for pressing and then grading. Thank you!

We should be able to as long as it fits within the dimensions of our holder. Right now, the Magazine Modern tier is running about 225 business days.
