Nico I'd agree with you. I don't think any fan would stop purchasing the comic if the price got raised. Its funny you say that cause that's exactly what I did. I opened the book, went out to my patio, lit a smoke (100s) and after putting it out I think I had 2 pages left. I felt bamboozled for a bit.

I seriously read #98 in about 5 minutes. I'm a slow reader to boot.

Well now that all 27,000 variant covers have been leaked/released, I think It's safe to say my favorite would be Adlards wraparound. I just think it gives the best perspective to the series up until now as a whole. Rick standing on a sea of dead bodies. I like it.

It was rumored that Michonnes favorite color was blue plus on episode 3 there was a zombie with a blue shirt on that had a nametag with the same name as the governor of Georgia and it was the 33rd Page in the -script that scene took place. I figure that may have raised the price of that book. Just a hunch.

Oh by far. I literally am having a love affair with Spawn #222 cover, I can't stop looking at it. Made it my background pic for my desktop and trying to trim it nicely for my tablet's background too. I do love how you can see McFarlane's traits though in this #100 cover. Mainly the detail of the rips/shreds on the shredded shirt and all the lines/detail on the chest of the zombie really stands out as a "McFarlane" in my opinion. It's very reminiscent of spawn's cape in the early days. I like it.

I find this all to be tremendously ironic considering Kirkman himself has said he doesn't like doing variants at all. I don't have that source in front of me but it was either in a Letters Hack or an interview.

A huge round of slabs must have just been sent out cause almost every Walking Dead #19 listed in the last week on eBay is slabbed. They actually outnumber the number of raw books currently listed. And if you ask me people are getting a little overzealous with their BIN prices. $800-1200...seriously? Edit: Is that the true value now? Perhaps I'm wrong ans those are reasonable prices, if someone wants to jump in and has better insight on the actual value of a 9.8 #19 I'm all ears.

Heck yea it's real and it looks sick! It really reminds me of the superhero variant cover for #50 which I'm in love with, it has that same style and it's beautiful. It's already available for pre-order from Midtown. Edit: Rehosted as I was hotlinking from a different site.

Something to do with the last few pages. I think you don't get the end, only beginning pages again....or something Ahh ok, kind of like the #35 misprint error. I wonder how much the #27 misprint would go for price wise, since the #35 goes for quite a lot and it's not even a key issue. Anyway thanks for replying I had a feeling it would be something to that affect.

Not to change the topic but does anyone have any info on the #27 misprint? I'm just now learning about this but cannot find squat with my google-fu. I have been extremely active on eBay the last few months and have never seen it show up. So, just curious what the misprint is and what the stats were on it.
