  1. I think they have the right to boast about that though, its a pretty big accomplishment. And here my mom had my little league bowling trophies displayed proudly in her house growing up, I can only imagine what momma-Kirkman has.
  2. This is how I think hope he may look like Edited "dream" to "think". Creepy is what I do best.
  3. Also maybe they saw something on the other 9.8 they didn't like? Not all 9.8s are equal, I've seen a 9.8 with light spine abrasion or small tick before.
  4. Sorry if it was said already, but when does that second printing of #100 come out on shelves?
  5. Did anyone read this interview with Kirkman today? He says some things about Rick that made me do a double take Interview here
  6. If I was pointing out the obvious I would constantly insult your etiquette and inadequacies. .
  7. Aaaaand their out of stock again
  8. Ok this is definitely the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I can't decide if I wanna be a runner or a zombie! You watch the video? I cant decide if I want to do Florida or Maryland -- either way the race looks to be quite the thrill - If you "die" you can get a 2nd life by finding a health pack which are spread out and hidden across the obstacle courses! Yea I watched both, I just saw that it says if you are a zombie, you also can be a runner too for free, that's what I'm definitely gonna do!
  9. Ok this is definitely the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I can't decide if I wanna be a runner or a zombie!
  10. My CGC cherry has been popped! Very happy with the outcome on 3 of them, a little confused on the ToT getting a 9.6 but overall still very pleased
  11. If you ever have to do employee reviews or are entering into a tense negotiation I would think that hanging them someplace in your office, where the person you are meeting with will take a minute before they notice it and what it is, would make for an interesting experience for everyone involved. Wear them to the airport on your next international flight. I would love to see their response when you tell them its a zombie ear necklace. Both good ideas. I am actually flying international next month. If I pick up a pair, I'll try that out. Dibs on your comics for when you go to jail!
  12. There's also "race variants" for the ear. Each race has their own ear, collect them all!
  13. 2 more have sold for $400 and $450 respectively. It's now officially a $400 book. Thanks to the person who enjoys overpaying for stuff.
  14. It shouldn't have mattered at that point, your books were already successfully submitted and in the hands of CGC
  15. That actually breaks my heart. You wouldn't want your favorite writer/artist to autograph/sketch a book for you when you meet them and b.s. with them at a small signing? It's getting worse than the 90s ... Maybe you didn't read my post clearly. I'll write it again for you. That's exactly the only reason I would want a book signed, is if I'm in front of the artist. I don't care about a book that was signed by Kirkman 1000 times in a row at his desk or in his house. I want to be there, watching them do it, have a chit chat, and enjoy the experience (and possibly have CGC there as well of course for obvious reasons). Same goes with a band, I'm not gonna waste my money on a cd/record that was signed by them en masse, I want my mess signed while I stand in front of them squealing like a little girl asking random people to take pictures of me while they do it, like I did at last weeks SuperCon with Less Than Jake. And thanks Rosen for leaving me alone with them so I can awkwardly talk to them for 15 minutes about nothing feeling like "that creepy fan". Totally worth it.
  16. Also, I wrote this somewhere else, but call me "comic book guy" but im so jaded now that I dont care to have signatures on my books unless witnessed by me and a cgc representative.
  17. I know we've never really clearly defined "heating up" but the Walking Dead #33 blue cover variant is at $187 with 25 bids. Ebay listing
  18. I heard that there will be a pancake eating contest and the winner will get the ottley sketch. But in order to get the black blank cover you need to come dressed as an albino giraffe.
  19. Yay more variants! Has it been a full day yet since the last was announced?
  20. Don't worry about it, you'll be the homeless guy with the coolest comic collection under the bridge!
