  1. They didn't show it, but also Doctor Who is another winner. So you will see both of them. 1781839-doctor-who-watermark Lego by dghmwyatt, on Flickr
  2. Hipster? I thought it was old dudes like me that didn't like it. Though, I'm personally indifferent. If aimed at me.... - If it was for their PC, okay, cool. Get whatever you want signed. But why get Stan THE Man to sign a random Marvel book that he has no ties to, and then sell it on Ebay. It's ridiculous to me. That's all. If I am in the market for say a MN #98, I sure as heck don't want The Man's sig scrawled all over the cover on my copy. It makes zero sense to me. Zero. Once again, I respect what people collect. What I collect is NOT better than what "you" collect. But for people flipping books, I just don't understand the selection of comics they use to get Stan's sig. It is mind numbing, and I am just sick of seeing them all over the market. I only have 2 Mr Lee's sig on a book he really didn't have much to do with, and that's ASM 301. It also has McFarlane's sig on it. I bought it because 1 it was a great price and 2 it has Lee's and Mcfarlane's sigs. and I thought I would not have the opportunity to get to meet either on of them. I have gotten to speak to Mr Lee a couple of times now, but not McFarlane.
  3. I will take 2! I believe they will be released later next month for VIP's,

  6. I picked up today a Showcase 4 and 8, a Superboy 68. I wish they were for me.
  7. I knew it is on it's way, but not sure as to when. I talked to the people at my local Lego store and they have no idea when.
  8. I disagree with this, the community is not they offended person. I would say that 4comix would be the judge of what is reasonable. We as the community can either agree or disagree with what he deems reasonable.
  9. Would they have the same # or would they give it a new #?
  10. The last time I went looking for newsstand copies was when Marvel introduced the Angela character in GotG. I went to Books and Co., who, at the time still had an extensive comic selection. That was maybe 1 1/2- 2 years ago? I have never been to one, but what about Hastings?

  16. This is not my image, but this technic bot stands 36' tall, with 2.8 million bricks, weighs in at a svelte 11 tons. He stands above the Lego store at the Mall of America. The-LEGO-Store---2 by dghmwyatt, on Flickr I used to work part time at the Lego store.
  17. Very nice books! Did you pick them up slabbed?
  18. Thanks I know I have at least 2 of the 4th and 5th printings, as for the rest 1st probably 10, 2nd's 5, 3rd also 5. For MOS 17 I have 6 more. 19's I have 3 of that one. Back when these issues first I worked for a comic/sports cards/mags/newspaper/p()rn store called Shinders in Blaine MN. I was one of the comic buyers for that store. Whenever a comic came out that had one of my favorite characters I would buy multiple issues. Well we never got in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th prints. But whenever I saw them. I would pick them up. I did buy a 1st print 9.8 of the 18 on the boards here. I have always loved the story, so I still buy them when I can get them for a great price. Shinders, that brings back some memories. Used to get my comics at the Maplewood store in the late 80s and early 90s. Before I found the Source and Hot Comics. Nice books as well. They did have some nice stuff. Joel Shinder is a *spoon*, but I really enjoyed working there part time.
