For 2024 aspirations Artwork: Romita Spiderman page Jack Davis page Comics: A Timely book, not saying which one Maybe a couple of GA Batman upgrades Add a few more Spiderman’s to the collection Pick up a bunch more Marvel Masterworks. I snagged about 60 over 80 this year. Retirement, here I come General: Make some real progress into creating my sell pile for both comics and OA Map out the plan to start cleaning out the collection (what to sell where) Submit some more books to CGC before I have to take out a second on my house to cover the submission cost.

Two pieces I was watching. Hard to say whether high, about right, or low. I am going to go with about right. Would have gone on the high side had I decided to bid but I am still trying to sneak my last two Peanuts purchases in to the house.

Well I did returns those stock certificates.

Not sure about anyone else but I definitely get all my financial and stock investing advice from a comic book message board. I declined purchasing Nvidia stock in 2020 because I was certain the stock certificates had been pressed and potentially trimmed.

Just added this kit. There were two different sized boxes for the Neanderthal Man and Sabertooth Tiger.

I believe the Superman looks amazing. Can't tell about the Batman 1 yet.

This is probably a top 10 in my collection. The background story, the year is 1996 and I am deep in college working on my PhD dissertation and getting ready to take my exams. The internet is becoming a more important place and I found a site where you could get peoples address. I knew D!ick Sprang was living in AZ and was able to get his address so I sent him a letter telling him about myself and how his work had inspired me over the years. A total fanboy action but he was alive and I really wanted to let him know how much I loved his work. To my shock and surprise, he wrote back. This is the letter he sent me.

I don't think it is a competition. If it were we couldn't get excited about anything that wasn't as impressive as the the Promise Collection. It has been a while since any auction house has had some of these unicorn books. Look how excited people got over a Detective 27 cover only.

I believe the Superman 1 will be the highest unrestored grade Heritage has ever offered. Highest Spiderman 1 they have offered is a 9.4
