  1. The Richie Rich 1 surprised me but I dont know what the last 9.6 sold for. People do know this book got its Macaulay Culkin bump a long time ago don’t they?
  2. My thoughts as well. Cap #1 seemed low but I didn’t think it was the prettiest copy
  3. You think there is a general softness on the Star Wars stuff? I don't follow it too much but it seems there have been more auctions lately. These prices do not include the buyers premium. This action boy is just the box, comic and accessories, no figure. I thought maybe $500 I had no idea on these but thought the prices seemed strong A couple of Star Wars items I was watching. Maybe low? Example of some cards, seemed strong Mar Attacks prices. The full set price made me happy. This is about what I paid for my set but mine is much higher grade.
  4. I also watched some of the gum cards and models. I would say prices on cards were very strong. Models were all over the map. Superman drawn cover model went for just over $1k versus a previous auction where is went for over $2k. Monsters of the Movies went for about what I expected. Monster scene kits went way higher especially for everything I was chasing. The Doctor Deadly’s Daughter went for over $2k. I was hoping to get it for $600 to $700. At least I was able to peacefully sleep knowing I made someone pay that much. edit: I was going to mention, a Mars Attack wrapper went for almost $4k which is extremely strong.
  5. Hakes gets some interesting pieces. Here is one I was watching and really wanted but given the final hammer and how much I have spent lately just couldn’t pull the trigger. It was high on my want list for sure. I thought it was a strong price. I thought more $10k on the high side. Anyone else watch anything or even win something?
  6. Finished my Monsters of the Movies series tonight and the Monster Scenes series for thenUS released kits. Bidding was too high on the Canadian Doctor Deadly's Daughter kit
  7. Some collectors have outstanding taste and a keen eye for quality.
  8. I find a lot of the new material to be really bad Sandman = terrible artwork and a pretty goofy story line Walking Dead = Gilligan’s Island with Zombies with horrendous artwork. Every episode has the same theme, someone does something stupid and then other people have to save them. Everyone gets all excited at the latest stupid thing someone does. I am not familiar with Preacher and Y.
  9. Fact check: True People should avoid losing money by buying Schulz works.
  10. I haven't bid on any Peanuts stuff yet but definitely will if the prices remain below a certain level
  11. The book that no one loved … Originally sold as a 7.5 on Heritage for a decent price Got a minor facelift and then sold on Clink with a bump in price Now it is back on Heritage in the same grade
  12. I cut a mat where the hole size is exactly the size of the puzzle and then sandwich the puzzle between a backing board and the glass.
  13. If complete a swag would be $500 each. Could go higher because boxes look to be in nice shape. Incomplete would be $150 to $250
  14. I also have multiple copies of the 1st Batmobile cover.
  15. The funny thing is Stan would have signed it if you paid him. I also don't mind signatures OA, now comics is different story
