Couldn't find an SA Marvel mega-key on here for ages - now you're tripping over them in every thread. People warned of a correction - it's happening.

Just got to the end of season 2 - we had forgotten heaps. This is such an unique show - sci-fi, horror, loss / grief , love / happiness - and somehow they all gel in a cast mostly of kids. Own up - who didn't have a little eye moisture when 11 showed up to the Snowball for Mike. Great, great show.

Honestly, no I didn't. I'm pretty sure though, that it doesn't compare to the 'Watchmen' TV series. Anyway - semantics - you get the point I'm making, rather than go show by show. Watchmen is another case in point - searing, educational, and adult orientated - and a smash hit. Not sure if 'Stargirl' will be described as such. I think we can agree that they really need to decide a way they want the DCU to go - and stick with it. It's all over the place TBH.

I enjoyed Gotham and Titans (both teetering towards 15+ rather than PG) I liked Doom Patrol - but that was most certainly an Adult show with nudity and F bombs Lucifer turned into a hopelessly repetitive parody, and the others were poor - as in uninteresting after a couple of eps - which is as bad as it gets. Don't forget that stinker - Legends of Tomorrow - which was so bad it was actually watchable for Percell and Miller hamming the heck out of it! They don't need to turn it into a porno swearfest with guts flying everywhere - but they do need to look at peacemaker - and stuff the 'The Boys' and try to work out why they drew in more viewers per episode than Stargirl did in its whole run. To many shows - Later series of Walking Dead, Batgirl, Ms Marvel, Stargirl, Legends etc suffer from simply being Vanilla. Same stuff, different cape. It's a shame as there is so much good DC stuff to draw on.

I love reviewers who compare one show to another they haven't actually seen and then fail to notice that Ben Mackenzie isn't even in Gotham Knights. I turned off after 40 seconds.

It should be hard to screw up an epic comic series, yet Dc manage to do it. There's just a lack of continuity of focus with DC. 80% young adult stuff - of which most is garbage (probably Titans is the main success) and 20% adult - which works and works well (Peacemaker, the Joker) Either DC management are totally oblivious to this or there are too many people pulling in separate directions. DC most certainly does NOT need another YA show.

I fully expect a delay in Aquaman 2 for reshoot with a new actress. The only option left for her is Pole Dancing and 'specialist' fetish requests...
