  1. Virgin media did a whole series on Indian gods. Some are excellent, some, not so much. I'm viewing through a prism of someone with very limited info on Indian culture - Indian people may think they are terrible! Good quality products though https://www.google.com/search?q=virgin+media+indian+god+comics&newwindow=1&rlz=1C1SQJL_en-gbAU798AU798&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiDmayu2d33AhVw7HMBHbt1CLEQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1920&bih=937&dpr=1
  2. I think the seller is on the level I'd cover yourself by sending it in to CGC yourself, and following up with CGC ensuring they know (and its written on the sub) that this is your book, but reslabbing is to be billed to the seller. Or ring for an actual quote, and bill the seller before you send. The other choice is to simply open a return and send it back Depends how much you want the book
  3. Nope - you're going to have to give me a hint on this one.
  4. Absolutely - waiting 18 months to get books back after pressing and subbing is losing it's appeal very quickly.
  5. As for the service itself - it's all in the title 'ON-SITE' These guys will quick-press and then send you running for an on-site walkthrough before the effects of a terrible press job wear off in 48 hours
  6. Not sure it will ALL go sideways, I certainly would not want to be sitting on a pile of those stupidly expensive variant moderns - or one-off movie / TV characters . Solid genuine key books should weather the worst comfortably.
  7. It's already got a 'removal date' on the Foxtel 'on-demand' - so, yes, this must truly have sucked balls big-time. I'll give ep #1 a go and see if y'all wrong
  8. In Australia, you can find the 3 back series in the Foxtel 'on demand' library
  9. Season 1 is on Disney+ in Australia (we don't have Hulu here)
  10. He obviously didn't buy Dylans system. The fool.
  11. I've sold pretty much most of these fairly easily between $10 - $50 for a set. You should be making profit pretty soon I'd have thought. @StrikeOutXXX
  12. Why are you confused? In Australia there is zero advertising for this movie. None. Nobody I know even knew it was being filmed. It's actually a pleasant suprise.
  13. And this is the point that some people are missing. You sell a book for $100 that you paid $50 for at a yard sale. So pay taxes no the $50 profit (minus expenses) - no problem. The problem comes PROVING you paid $50 in the first place. Ain't nobody going to write you a receipt for $50 at a yard sale - the IRS will just follow your receipt back to them in an audit. More lunacy - and this is a real scenario - to expect a seller who bought a book from a store in 1980 (Savage She-Hulk #1) and sold it for $900 to pay tax on $897 profit. The guy kept the book for 42 years. He's no flipper - just got lucky. If he bought it a year ago, heck 3 or 4 even, I can see the point - but 42 years later? Seems like a fine for keeping his book in pristine condition
  14. Didn't even know there was a sequel! Trailer looks very good though
  15. I'm honestly NOT surprised it took this long for ebay to work out this would hit them hard next financial year. Once the IRS get completely gridlocked with millions of extra tax queries - this will hopefully go. Hasn't happened in Australia yet - but monthly reports are now being issued - all ID and details taken for all accounts, so its coming. Currently no tax payable on anything over 10 yrs old or BOUGHT for under $600 and then resold for more in the comic sector. We'd be in the same boat as you guys - no-one at a garage sale is going to be handing out receipts to help the IRS and screw themselves.

  17. Great show - great opening - Season 2 please. Oh and Harcourt is an absolute fox
  18. I'm sure he's a great guy. And it's totally on the seller. No argument. All I'm saying is that I don't agree with the 'partial refund' solution that some others do. You either are upset enough that you don't want it or you can live with it and leave a neg. I don't agree with "I can live with it at half price" All nice and jolly sticking up for your buddy and all that - but that wasn't the point I was making. Enjoy your weekend.
  19. I was with you until this. You either want it or you don't. If you want it - flatten it down and keep an irreplaceable piece of art, and leave a neg. If you don't want it - send it back. Biggest beef when selling is the odd person, saying "its damaged I don't want it" - unless you give me half my money back, in which case then I don't care. I always insist on a 'sent if back for full refund' on the very rare occasion it happens - and 100% of the time, they never do. @Bird is totally correct - with some gentle but constant pressure, that will straighten out over time. Happy to buy it off you in fact
