  1. Current list - all non-payers, ridiculous low-balling (I don't mind haggling but don't offer $10 for a $3700 book), 'has the case got any scratches' , can I pick-up and pay cash , or just generally impolite flogs, or known shillers. And the bolded one because of threats of violence. probably a couple I blocked because I was in a grumpy mood 3_rooms, 3rdking, 617jtv, 8315k1, 84naomi84, 8derek, 9976lee, aalrd26, abcauto-industry, abplonsker, acharch81, acmein, actionfigure44collector, adawolfso1, adriansmith1964, ala-newma, alfara_4268, alima287671, alister55, allisnotlost, amanda2038, amantetech, ampcom_services, artathan_0, ausai67, aussieretroflips, b3nr4m4, bargaindvds_au, beatlebluecat, benitmazzarell0, benmuscat_91, benni-cortina, bilbet2008, billysoutlet126, blackboxcomics, blends33s, bogannextdoor, bondcollectibles, boogie-man83, booksellerau, bornbr3, borod-pavel, bpebfr, bratzelkopp, bright4bay, britdon_5141, broke_ass, brokenhillrecords, bronto1, buyingboeing, buzz-n-woody-present_yodas-jedi-treasure_anakins-sith-stash, bwjcollects, calm-mix, carnavoncthon, carola.b, carolyhann12, cartelkarina, casinoman1948, cass_hea, cfd-315, charlottemercy, chrialt-58, chrilahar_0, claritaspecial, clowns.are.evil, clscnh-0, comicbookcorner, comicbookmatrix, comictalk.usa, comixdaily, coolstuff4u3, corriferro0, craigj1571, crob_666, cweedin, d2004h2013, daabb-2349, dadsvintage, danielthomasandrewdaly, danny2731, danstrade, danthecardman1, danzoncorp78, dappoolsaver, darkuniversecomics, davirui67, davpaul60, design_closet2016, diditallforcookies, doctornova, donkilumanati, donwildt, duke_0608, duncanmacloud, dwhitney1, edrosenkranz, electrobuster, er1566505, esco5357, eswood7, ethadownin-8, europa33, everest_collector, fairlane351, fatonious, fergo1123, fi_296, fish-n-toons, flatuswalrus, fordpicker78, franbevil-45, franckt2250, frecicchin-0, fredagg2, freepy1988, fulcrum250, funkyn, fycek-10, gahi9510, game-guru, gardenvalecollectables, gavenau, gbamx007, giantrats88, gingerbo_48, glittergoddess25, gpz_aussie, graffismyjuice, graged66, greencougar007, greenmusicbaby, greyhoundman*123, guruverba, haymica26, heartmusi_86, hibu_34, hoyl.hann, hulkamaniac, ia.gordo, inder.m.sukh_1, infinity-danny, intric8, isharajayakody, itaketheleader, jackso_620, jadeodj11, jakebec1812, jamac-46, jamesmarchington, jamieh55, jarbr5354, jaydemermaid, jeanped-53, jeff_tickle, jeffscomicsandcollectables, jlewis82, joann-7539, joeysams2087, johmcp-7, johnk_61, johroa-55, jtl8511, jynxd01, kekerh.cvl5gon, keng3343, kennethsarmstrong10, kentophile, keranwin23, keyboard92tonny, kidkillowatt, kimywez, kirra.s-49, kitkated, kja1964, kni-cld-szxkz4m, konkrete-kunst, koppy13, kse_sec_bzl6snwp, kvarsh02, laake-us2014, lamecowear, lanamei333, lauriebrown7, leoke-74, leonalily, liamobrien1989, limitlessvisions, lottevpinge0, lrp10719, lxldamolxl, lysafow0, m.atrix, majorpain_123, malcstar_5, marchr_lvnxxj8ge1, marcus_9337, mariogoku, marksmancomics, markyjmark88, markymark2012eb, marvelanddccomics, matthepitarell0, maxwaspking, med_6154, melissad94, mick0444, mightymouse19_ph, mikegr1michael, moma9227, mrqueen122, mteverest92, mulligantom, murdoch446, myco_venturer, mycomicshop, myhy37, natalie38-81, nathancole1988, neil4161, newbalance2007, nicktopakas, nicola10982013, norrinraddical, odinscourt, offen-29, oliansell-0, oliansell-30, ospahi7, ozen3, p-e-a-c-h-e-s, paglo_83, pandzar, paolo17, papanos2012, patricglyn-86, paulpissedoff, pbabarke-6339, pehunt1-3, pete650, peterkuschel, pewter4144, phantomzoneverse, phillihal-3, pidge11103, pinkbitsrule, pirub-ru-skur7b5yfc, pontifff, popculturecollect, popcultureexperts, potatorace, powerfan88, powermike9000, props-wardrobe-tv, pxlp2280, qe-588, qe9068, qoky_23, rafal_7700, rafielgrayson, ragnarok13, rare_stuff87, rayb214, rdhayalan, reevem123, reqfru, rhi281993, rhysandsimone, riccam9124, ritchiet-37, robro.s.mk9zboxvr, roggiet, rohe_6758, ross6868, ryno2342, samun21, sange62, sc_melb, scrampion, scrapdogs, seaprie0, sebea-45, seema35, sgra1620, shargoodwi0, shawn_low, shel0347, simplifymylife73_3, siobhanellis, sky5805, skyfutura, slave2degrind, smartwaymatt12, spar1952, speidred, steel_city_comics, stephen42, stepo-728304, stevejudovsk_0, stevemango0, stevevit2005, stimpymingus, suga3free, surdrechri, syahrockstar, tassie1991, tazzmarriner, tedsmemorabilia, terri*anne, thanos-47, the_gatemaster, thecomicbookscorner, thefarmerboy88, thegonzomemoirs, thegoodthebadandtheuglyjack, thehouseofcool, thepoint5, timelord.doctor, tonich-3766, tonimagic.123, toodogs04, tore12m, tracey_shaun, transportconnection, travisinoz, tree_ox, trip_d, troyzer83, trucker521, truekillerbunny, vanillacactus101, vintagemagazinesforsale, wackypackages-88, wasche1982, wayne333444, wezzzz, wheetleymoon, why_wait_til_the_last_minute, wizardmasters, wmdae13, wombi-2016, wrassebenny, x..1..x, xanmad_33, xanton84, xpowerringx, yahy-4, yianni1961, youcantchuckit1958, zepmaster, zombiejez

  3. Bizarre timing - an evening winter garage sale. Oh well. $5 for the lot.
  4. @StrikeOutXXX The Adventures of Superman #465, 466 - 1st app Hank Henshaw - becomes Cyborg Superman. $125 + $200 graded 9.8 according to GPA - should be $50+ raw for the pair, easily. The Books of FaerieThe Books of Magic (Comics)The Books of Magic (Trade Books) All easy sellers in complete sets. There are still some nuggets to be found in your boxes.
  5. Quasar #32? Nam #1 sells well in HG.... Only on these boards can people argue about comics neither party owns!
  6. Of course shipping is a hassle - you should live somewhere like Australia, where free boxes, and mail pick-ups (unless via courier) don't exist. I have to go to the PO every single time in person. I also get exposure to millions of people looking to potentially buy comics. The upside so outweighs the downside, it's not even close. 8500 is way too many books to hope to get rid of from a single store that isn't even a comic one. A big collection is much easier to shift online - but you have to put the initial work into get set up. You should know, how long has it been for you to get through the big lot you bought? 2 years and still going? 3 years? Imagine how many less you would have sold if you didn't use ebay. Ebay can be awful at times - but if I was shifting 8500 non-key books - and not just bulk dumping them - ebay is your best bet at making moolah.
  7. I'll say it again - you really should consider getting an ebay store. They are cheap, easy to run (once you have set up payments, templates, postage rates etc) - AND - nothing to stop you saying come check the books out in person at 123 Smith St, Jonesville, Texas etc List them in the same way you are selling physically, then you can cancel the listing if someone buys them from your store. This way 8500 books will be gone in 12 months, if priced right. You won't sell that many via foot-traffic to your physical store. The people looking for run fillers are more than likely to do it from the comfort of their home, rather than going to physical stores - so why not use both options. Set and forget about them until they sell. @StrikeOutXXX Gotta say I agree with others, if stuff like MTU #95 + #141 (released 1984) is missing, then, yeah, these have been cherry picked to the bone. The learning experience is priceless though - stick with it
  8. Gotta say, if I looked up "meh" in the dictionary, it would probably direct me to the last episode of Ozark. Underwhelmed to say the least. A shame, as the show was once great.
  9. Marvel PremiereMarvel Spotlight The New Mutants Marvel Team-Up The Nam I'd be triple checking these - there are some established Keys in those runs.
  10. What a load of wank. Screw these 'streaming wars' - Discovery and Strange New Worlds are on Paramount + (so thats another channel to pay for). Picard is on Amazon still. After 3 seasons of Discovery on Netflix, I'm not paying for yet another channel to carry on. These channels need to sort their shit out or people will just stop watching. In Australia a separate fee is needed to watch: Netflix Amazon Prime Disney+ Paramount+ HBO max Britbox Foxtel Stan And others. Crazy.

    Gotham

Suspend any semblance of the series being remotely serious, and you'll enjoy it so much more. Some characters are played very poorly - Jada Pinkett-Smith as Fish Mooney , and Erin Richards (Barbara Kean) are dreadful, but more than made up for by Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue and Robin Lord Taylor, who is the perfect Penguin. It's hard to think of any Batman characters who aren't in it (except Batman!) Sure there are some big 'ol plot holes, but it's a fun show. Some well known 'stars' in it as well - B.D.Wong, Michael Chiklis, James Frain, Alexander Siddiq, Morena Baccarin and Sean Pertwee amongst them. I enjoyed it - probably best to watch in two or three episode chunks, rather than binge a whole season.
  12. Banshee used to do that too, with different photo /pics in the opening credits. Great show Banshee - Anthony Starr was great, but Hoon Lee and Odette Annable turned Banshee into something special. Great show - hope they do a follow-up as the ending gave them scope to do just that. The best of Job (Hoon Lee) from Season 1 of Banshee NSFW!!
  13. Laser Discs, whilst already going up - are still found at sub $50 prices on ebay for some great titles. With the ease now of finding replacement lasers (which is what sunk them in the first place), obsolete players are now easily fixed. The vision and sound is second to none - and once the 'public' who have never played one, discover this - I think a huge boom in Laserdiscs will happen. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175250217340?hash=item28cdba197c:g:AfoAAOSweHpiWV5q Aliens for $25 - yes please! Having said all that,I only have one, so I probably should buy some!
  14. Yes. Really, really enjoyed the first one. The CGI was amazing, and the story, whilst smothered in cheese, was enjoyable. If this is of equal standard, I will be delighted.
  15. Will they tie in Jessica Jones? In Alias there was the Mattie Franklin (Spider-Woman) arc with - Madame Web. They have said that Jessica Jones will be back - nice easy cross-over from Sony to MCU right here.
  16. Out of 7 boxes they were the ones that WERN'T in their!
  17. Sorry to hear you are so unwell - hope your books all sell. Best wishes for the future
  18. There was someone in the 'wanted to buy' section after a high grade TOD #10 @Terry JSA
  19. You can definitely burn those. I bought a bulk manga lot - it had 7 complete runs of series 1 and 2. I still have all 7 Can't literally give them away
  20. https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/ The length of that CBC on back cover maxes it out at 4.0 - still a nice find Those Batman books usually are sets - Gotham Knights is a huge run The Cult - 4 parter - easy $25 run. Now, you can do the rest yourself! Seriously though - if this is all from one short box, you've scored big time. It may be in $10 - $100 runs, but there isn't anything you've listed that won't easily sell. Get an ebay store!
  21. Let me clarify - his antics have been harming himself - now, with this, somebody who didn't read the fine print will be getting whacked $970 A MONTH for this scam. That's the kind of behaviour that brings out the crazies looking to even things up. Look no further than Thomas Neeley. If Dylan isn't reined in - his own personal Thomas Neeley may well appear. He needs help - and instead of his father threatening to sue everyone, should probably be getting him professional help @Bird - Hope that makes it clearer.
  22. He is a sociopath, enabled by his litiginous father. They'll find Dylan in a ditch one day if he carries on this nonsense.
