  1. Au contraire. I couldn't care less what you do. I'm just not sure WHY you are doing it. If this is an attempt at trolling - it's poor. If this is a thread to bait people so you can add to your tally of button humps, then it's ever poorer. Just put me on ignore and have done with it.
  2. This is almost as bad as the torments of tantalus. Pointless and painful to watch. And ultimately fruitless.
  3. Regina King was superb. Again DC went 'Dark' - and it worked. Incredibly good show. Funny you should mention Stargirl - I haven't watched it - but I haven't heard good things - it seemed 'tweeny' - I may try it. Supergirl - again too tweeny. Doom Patrol was kinda like Legion - you liked it or hated it. And speaking of which AUBREY PLAZA would be perfect as Batgirl! I think Watchmen makes my point well. Batgirl needs to be super dark for it to work
  4. Good backing cast - esp JK Simmons I am worried that the heroine has such a shallow CV As we saw with the dreadful Aussie actress Ruby Rose in Batwoman - doesn't matter how good a concept is - if the lead can't act - then its going to crash and burn. Her only major role was a musical which was just about OK - but not due to her really - more the complete ensemble. I don't understand DC's thinking at times - so many ordinary Batman movies - then some great dark ones (latest looks good too) Some good series - but some truly awful ones. Hell the latest Wonder Woman was abysmal - and after The Snyder Cut, with Gadot being pretty damn good - why oh why did they do an 80's style movie that was just so cringeworthy that it would actually have been bad IN the 80's! When DC do dark movies - they work When they do G / PG movies - they stink. This doesn't bode well for me - there are so many stronger female actors out there - and Batgirl is supposed to be a strong character. Emma Mackey (Sex Education) or even Blu Hunt would have been so much better choices - Millie Bobby Brown even. Hopefully she surprises and makes Batgirl her own - certainly a potential franchise. But besides WW - DC don't have a good track record with female characters (Harley Quinn, Birds Of prey etc) Hoping for best, fearing mediocrity!
  5. There is a dreadful movie on Netflix - 'Cosmic Sin' - on which mech clad soldiers fly through space onto the planet in an "Iron Rain" I'm assuming Mr Brown might be consulting his lawyers about this!
  6. I concur There have been 'good' Hulk moments in the movies - time for a great one. Most under-used character out of the current Avengers roster
  7. But I couldn't log on for 2 days Had to go through a 3rd party link - "bad gateway connection" Coincidence?
  8. New update Books still nor found. Zero reply from CGC to emails. Joeys phone calls get fobbed off. Lost since August. Bravo CGC, you must be so proud.... Or you don't give a toss. I guessing the latter. No wonder CBCS subs are increasing by the week. CGC's customer service sucks.
  9. it's a 4 part series Bosco - Matty should be front and centre. I admire your optimism, but this has Jupiters Legacy, Outcast, Y-The Last Man failure written all over it. Matty Roth IS DMZ Without that character - the book isn't being portrayed - this will be another you-know-who bashing show, shaped as a 'comic adaptation'. It's more sadness and frustration for me Bosco - I loved 'Y' and loved 'DMZ' - it's just such a shame the originality of the stories are being diluted to suit an 'agenda'. PS: Love the work you do on this part of the forum - I for one appreciate it
  10. If it continues in the same vein - then why would anyone pick up this 'woke' version. To be pulled mid-season - and Season One at that, means this turkey is dead. The viewers voted - it sucked, they turned off. End Of Story. I really hope someone just dos it as written one day.
  11. The 'outsider' is Zee in the show - BUT: She was always in the DMZ - and whilst a major character - who I'm sure Dawson will play well, was only a footnote to the whole story. The outsider is the Journalist Matty Roth - he is 100% integral to the entire story. He isn't mentioned anywhere in the trailer! Without Roth this isn't DMZ - it's yet another book that's been completely warped to suit some narrative (Om sure you can guess which)
  12. So they have completely written out the main character and reduced the whole series of books to a 4-parter. Righto. Why do people always have to be smartarses and 're-imagine' stuff that was pretty darn good in the first place First 'Y' and now this.
  13. No - it was a great comic - comics are places to leave the real world behind - not a platform for 'agendas' Do it again - just as written and it will be great
  14. Your wish is my command, oh great one Been stable at $2300 - $2400 then up it goes. I wondered if I missed a movie announcement or something? The Spidey sinister six / multiverse one? I follow this book a lot as I have a couple, but mainly because it seems to go up and down for no apparent reason. God knows where it will be when MM gets cast in a live action role. Or how low if he never does! Speaking of rubbish TV adaptations and price tumbles - Y-The Last Man is on track to be the next 'sixth-gun' scale disaster! Reviews / advance screenings were Sept 12th / 13th I guess the message is - sometimes its better to stick with the original material! Anything else you need - I'm back in an hour or two
  15. UF #4 taking an inexplicable upturn in 9.8 - have I missed something?
  16. MSS #16 - at least they didn't lose that one!
  17. Is this code for - yes I'm looking for your books? Doesn't sound like it @Jennifer F.
  18. Joey subbed some of mine with some of his, so yes, different tiers for different books.
  19. How many of us are in the same boat I wonder - an alarmingly high number it would seem. It might be prudent for CGC to rectify existing errors, catch up on TAT's and stop these private signings. In fact stop accepting books until they have the staff and equipment to handle the volume. I thought the new owners would realise this?
  20. Update time Harshen has now admitted the books have been lost since AUGUST How can you lose 20 books THAT ARE ENTERED INTHE SYSTEM and not find them in TEN WEEKS?? Ten whole weeks. One of which is a $15,000 book Is anyone going to go the extra yard at CGC and, I dunno, maybe get off their behinds and actually go look for them? Joey has been on to CGC weekly - and got nowhere. If CFP comics can't get CGC to pull its finger out, then expect many.many more books to 'get lost' There are only 2 reasons - negligence or theft. I would hope its negligence - which can easily be fixed, BY MAKING A BLOODY EFFORT TO FIND THE TWENTY MISSING BOOKS!! @Harshen @joeypost
  21. Still factory sealed - 140 Marvel Hardback Graphic Novels - less than $500
