  1. I dunno, they look pretty sweet to me! (thumbs u
  2. Gotta be a fluke, I see them for $5 at the LCS's often enough I would pay $5 all day long for 9.6+ copies . . .
  3. I was following that as well. Last week, two copies of #1 sold for $384 and $360, respectively. Yep, Illustrious talked me out of my copy for peanuts (and acted surprised I was asking that much) . . . In my defense though, it was a 9.4 copy, not a 9.8. Which, of course, is what it was graded at.

  5. This is not the whole last page however. As far as his appearance in the story, he is on the final page, face shadowed and only the right side of his body ( sitting down ) is shown. Then this teaser is directly below it. It's still a cameo ( if we are still calling it that ) Let's see the whole page . . . anyone?
  6. Man, that was one of the nerdiest post I've ever read (j/k). I agree 100% though... 1st Nathan Summers (Cable) - UX-Men 201 1st Cable - NM 87 fixed that for ya! (I've got two HG copies)
  7. Not surprising, but cool. Easily worth twice that.
  8. You don't need to be in the narrative to appear. It's funny how people view appearances like these. Most of you guys seem to see it as insignificant. I see the opposite. It's an appearance the goes under the radar until it's uncovered by an enthusiastic collector. I understand most collectors want the flashy cover done by the hot artist and that's all well and good but one of the reasons I collect Harley appearances ( and early Deadpool appearances ) is because they are hard to find. Even BA 12 was unknown to collectors for some time despite the fact that she's on the cover. This particular issue is similar to Batman and Robin Adventures 1 where Harley appears on a poster on the cover. Both issues are early appearances that I would want to own. Fair enough. You should collect how and what you want to. My personal opinion is that 'appearances' are within the narrative. so in your opinion, Gobbledygook 1 should not be considered a first app of TMNT? Absolutely. A perfect example.
  9. Time to jump on the stoopid 2nd print bus . . . kids these days They'll pay anything to be "special".
  10. It's not. "She" isn't in the book. A photo of her is. Too much of a stretch, surely. At least Darkseid speaks! Hear, hear!
  11. Seriously, I don't consider this an appearance.
  12. Yep, makes this one seem like a steal! http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-Comics-The-BATMAN-Adventures-12-1st-Harley-Quinn-VFN-NM-9-0/131167741382?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222006%26algo%3DSIC.FITP%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D22426%26meid%3D6573796988523888812%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D9723%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D351055543442
  13. Seriously, I don't display my books. Ever. It's always been too private a thing. I'd feel naked.
  14. Great idea Yep, as long as you don't try to sell them on eBay . . .
  15. Goes and pulls Preacher #51 from his stack and puts in Mylar . . .
  16. Of course, collector interpretations aside, these are all "reprints" and not worth the paper they are printed on . . .
  17. Andy (October) does good work. (thumbs u
  18. bump the list would you? The Annual is her third app, right?
