  1. GGA + 1st App. + Wolverine collectors and the fact that this has to be a grail for a lot of collectors and I think it comes close. There is no way on Earth this doesn't break $20k.
  2. That's pretty nice, the concept pieces that come with it are a great addition. I will throw out my guess at around 60k(50k for the cover 10k for the concepts)
  3. There has been some weird action on some stuff over the past 6 months or so. I saw one thing sell, get listed on the exchange with a 30% price increase, go to auction again and sell slightly higher than the first time and then go on the exchange again at a 30% higher price. It looks like this auction has some pretty nice books for a "focused" auction. I see a few things to bid on.
  4. Cheap for a reason, not his best work. However a few of the best ones seemed like a decent deal. It also probably doesn't help to throw all 12 in an auction together like that if you want to maximize price. I bid on the Darkseid one but nowhere close to the hammer price.
  5. Thats what I thought. Was part of one of the more memorable sequences in the book.
  6. I can think of several fixed price pieces available at the moment that looking like good deals compared to tonight's results.
  7. Strong results, I got blown away on the two I was interested in so far.
  8. Prices are moving big time at the end for sure.
  9. Maybe everybody blew their money at Heritage and then the comics portion of the Clink auction Problem is I have too many things I want to throw a bid or two on at current prices and I can't decide what to chase.
  10. Actually it is going from 7.2% to 8.235% with the .15% taken into account. For casual sellers it is no big deal. For full time eBay sellers doing 300k in sales a year with a margin of 15-20% it is crippling.
  11. This new seller update is just brutal for those who do everything right (Store subscriptions + TRS) and who are some of ebays best members. It's about a 14% increase in fees. A nice kick in the groin on top of that by upping 24 hour tracking to 95%. That plus the 20% or so increase in shipping we have seen in the past 2 years and most sellers selling inexpensive items or operating on a tight margin are going to be destroyed.
  12. Great pick up on a very nice presenting 3.0. I thought it was a deal at that price.
  13. Totally forgot, (I think I completely forgot last year) I will sign up if it is still okay
  14. Looking for two items at the moment. First I am looking for a Kelley Jones Batman cover. Would prefer it to be from main Batman or Tec runs, but any series would be okay. A great interior page or commission would also be of interest. Second I am looking for an A level Tim Sale The Long Halloween or Dark Victory page. Preferably a panel/half splash, but possibly a full splash, with Batman and Rogue on it, but I also would be interested in a great Batman only page or a rogue page. Cash/Trade or a combination, whatever you prefer. Feel free to message me here or on CAF. Thanks
  15. Of course not, but when a book is an apples to apples comparison and a dealer is 20% higher than what someone can hit a bin for on eBay, they probably shouldn't get upset when a buyer laughs at their price or tries to negotiate.
  16. Had to look it up since it was something I would not be interested in at all and would gloss over and the price gave me a laugh. There may be one or two or ten thousand things I would personally rather spend my money on.
  17. Almost $20k for the Bolland Batman cover. Strong price I think looking at it, but it is Bolland Batman.
  18. Off the top of my head I believe the Flash #153 page is a record for an Infantino panel page and the Aparo Brave and the Bold page is a record for a panel page from him as well.
  19. An hour in, and record public results all over the place. Very strong auction so far.
  20. Well, when I woke up this morning every lot had shot up above my max before bidding opened, so I am just an observer today. Prices already look super strong in the opening lots.
  21. If they are mostly bagged and boarded, and the runs are all sorted and they are vf on average mainstream marvel and DC about $50/long is possible but may take awhile. If you picked all the keys that will make it harder to sell. Also if it is 92-96 era stuff it is just so common and undesirable outside of a few select titles that will make it tougher. You should be able to get at least $25/long pretty easily based on what you said. Throw it on craigslist/the boards/etc with some pictures, multiply how many long you have by $50 and see if anyone jumps in.
