The pre first appearance nutso days. I thought it would come closer to the Hulk #180 page.

I love the DD #1 page and though it could have went a lot higher, 10k for the V page feels like a bargain in todays market...

Have these bidders actually read the Batman #386 story? It has almost no Batman in it. Ridiculous price.

Almost 200k for the Bisley Lobo cover. Insanity.

If you did want to sell something like this, auction it for sure and let people fight for it. Great page, I would peg it in the $8-12k in today’s nutty market, hell maybe $15k.

Looking at the lots and placing my tracking bids now and.......WOW. This auction is packed with awesome pieces. I can’t remember seeing this many A level panel pages in one auction in quite a while.

Actually feels on the low side to me all thing considered.

I’m general and relating to Sandman I think It depends on how specific you want to get. There are certainly standout Sandman specific issues and pages that would go nuts if they were available....but I feel like those issues or any “keys” in general could all be called A+. I do think Jones Seasons of Mist should probably move to the 20-30k. Don’t think a true A page sellers formless than that Bachalo Death is close on that 20k line. Biggest thing is any A pages is going to be over 10k no matter the artist.

B level pages are still in the 3-5k range, but I think any A level pages are above that at this point. Probably just different viewpoints over what is A level. Definitely 3-5k, I think a bit of the hype and interest has died down in the run and there are a lot of A pages sitting there unsold for a long time in the 5-10k range. This is correct, Will second this.

Quick changes I would make. Dump 3-5k.....the list is far far too large to really even bother trying to keep accurate and 5k is what 1k was a couple years ago. Infantino Flash is one or two pegs higher. Any A level main run Sandman page is 10-20k regardless of artist, Keith and Dringenberg are probably a peg higher. Sale TLH/DV should be $5-10k only A+ pages are 10-20k. Moore SSB should 100% be on the list at 10-20k, And while we are talking about Surfer add Moebius Surfer at probably the above $40k mark?

Ehh.......it’s not ugly........it is actually excellent work by a master. That being said I will say the premium attached to covers in this hobby is often times silly......especially for the cover of a reprint....as well as a “simple” image.......but it is what it is.....and probably not THAT overpriced in today’s market.

The show is amazing, there was actually too much art if that’s possible. Lots of nice stuff and lots of reasonable prices. A few Silly people added a couple extra zeroes to the end of a few prices, but those are cool as they give me a good laugh.There are a dozen or so things still available(not marked sold) that I am kind or surprised have not sold yet. I bought one thing yesterday and debating on a couple more.

The most insane price on a piece in the past year or so at least to me. You can get a lot of great art for that cash, and especially considering the period,(post-2000) that price can get you almost anything outside the absolute best of the best. I will call it an outlier, but people are clearly finding less and less of an issue spending very big on newer art.

The Jimenez Batman pages will be interesting to watch, seems like a fair amount have sold, and there seems to be a lot of interest in the current creative team(especially from this who are not King fans). I may picking up one soon, bit haven’t pulled the trigger. I have always believed if Fiona Staples did 1/1 prints for Saga it would blow the digital art market wide open. They would be be purchased very quickly at prices that would shock MANY collectors.

What piece did you think bombed? I picked up one piece I screwed up sniping on ebay earlier this year so was happy to have another chance.

I will join in the misery of loss. I got blanked as well. Nice thing was the site ran the best it ever did for me at a drop. made sure my PC was hardwired to internet, kicked everyone else in the house off the connection, autofilled everything. Got 4 requests in before the holds, but no luck. I am interested in how many requests Felix got, i'm betting around 1000. I however am a fortunate one who picked up a page at the drop last year, with the SS on board, so I have an example. And ditto to most others thoughts, the pieces were underpriced compared to what I would have paid(and significantly to some others.)

Double would be top end, but I think that is a high teens cover at least. I do however agree with your critiques 100%. It’s just a good BA Bat/Tec Cover has a floor, and I think this was below it. (The other Kaluta Bats Annual cover sold at HA kind of proves my point, as I think this one is worth around double that one. This price also kind of hits a nerve for me, as I chuckle at the often laughably low prices of most early BA Batman art not done by Neal Adams.)

Flipping from HA to Clink is usually suicide. It has been interesting watching the bottom for Hush art move up and up. People just want a page from it and the entry cost keeps going up.

An absolute steal IMO compared to what Mignola stuff has been selling for on HA recently. I have little doubt the buyer could put this in the next signature auction and make a profit.

Aint over til the fat lady sings, but overall this auction has had fairly weak results.

Still high bidder on 6 items, I should take home a couple tonight. Item I am most curious to see hammer is the Mignola Hellboy Cover. A bargain rigjt now if you think his earlier work is the most desirable.

Ironically, my wife also hopes I take a nap or am busy and miss bidding on it lol! I do have a feeling though I won’t be a player on it at the price I think it goes for.

I have a target still well below my max so we will see. I love the Bermejo Joker piece but expecting that to go nuts, maybe breaking 5 figures.
