Sorry, thought I had replied. For sure, when I sub these to CGC and get them back, will let you know.
I definitely lucked out with the two Thor #2's...Those are going to CGC for sure...Christian Bale as God-Butcher and I have two first apps! Might have to fast track those ones LOL.

Love your latest haul mate... As I was saying in that other comms channel, I have no idea why Spider Gwen #0 2nd printing has gone full Hansel... I can’t find any info on this from a couple of the sources that I have been relying on recently (keycollectorcomics.com and GoCollect.com)... what’s the goss?
I wasn't really aware myself...I think Spider-Gwen has a following and that it is a super low print run (apparently) with some new content, but I don't pretend to understand ALL the intricacies of the modern collector!

Nice results on the Clone Wars #1s. This little collection could be a gold mine.
Thanks and for sure...If I am able to sell them 😉!
I'm quite happy with the past few little deals for sure.
...Sometimes little deals are the best low bulk, decent returns!

Buying Update:
Buying wise, 2020 is proving to be a very good year! To date I have:
- bought a UF #4, 1st Miles Morales Voldemort 9.8 and flipped for a VERY nice profit,
- bought a very nice SPAWN collection and sold 1/3 of the collection so far (lots of low print run books) for a very nice profit,
- bought a small Star Wars Clone Wars lot that had two copies of 1st Ahsoka Tango (both are currently with CGC),
- bought a nice original owner Golden Age collection with lots of Canadian Editions, mostly Western, War and early Classics and Dell painted covers that I am still processing, and
I just bought a near complete set of Star Wars Legacy and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. A few doubles of some. A very tight short box worth of Dark Horse SW comics! Now I need to find a nice SA haul of DC and Marvel 1st appearances...Dare to dream...

Now my task is to go through and see if there are any other modern SW keys from here that are picking up steam. If anyone has some insight, would appreciate it. Note: The two copies of KOTOR #9 and Star Wars Legacy #1 will be going to CGC. Sample pics from collection:

I have been waiting for a recent CCS/CGC submission status to change, fast tracked and nothing so I emailed as it has been a few weeks out.
I was told by a CSR that they will forward my information to their "loopers" to try to get my invoice out. Are they being funny? Going to travel back in time to speed things up?
Ok, Frustrated. That one CSR did nothing, apparently.
I emailed this week and found out that, for whatever reason my CCS Fast Track sub was not placed in the Fast Track stream so had been SITTING there with CCS. Sigh. I use CCS maybe once a year...This may change that considering the TAT. Lots of different options. Books were sitting since July 27, 2020. Now still have to be pressed and graded and shipped.
I should have had them all back by now...

Nice, I love collections like this.
Thanks! I just realized how horrible those pics are. I have been working on bagging and boarding them and grading with notes.
A lot of Canadian Editions and I need to say that most of these are low to mid grade and would have been lost had I not rescued them.
I already unloaded, in bulk, 70 low grade later year/HRNS and beat up Classic Illustrated from the collection on Kijiji. I sold them less than 12 hours from posting. I still have a bunch of assorted early Dells (painted covers) and westerns.
Once I finish bagging and boarding will try to put together better pics of the good stuff.

Congrats on the auction mate. My one CBCS book was a Spawn #1 9.6... I picked it up very cheap and sold it for more than I paid... but now I kind of want to have a Spawn #1 CGC 9.8 in the collection... That and the McFarlane 230... That cover!
I still have it...

Congrats on the collection. You can't go wrong with latter issues of Spawn.
I just wrapped up my Spawn ebay auction...I have doubles or triples of most of what I sold...45 books from the lot...I was pleasantly shocked by the results. I knew later issues of Spawn had a fan base, but yeah, wow. Shocked. I want to move the rest but don't want to flood the market

Last year, well, nearly a year and a half ago, an acquaintance referred an older gentleman to me about some comics.
As he was from out of province, I met quickly with him one afternoon over a year ago when he was in town for a medical appointment to look at his books. We couldn’t agree to something at that very brief meeting is because my initial offer was “not enough” and “below his expectations.” These were books he had as a child and had hung onto all these years so there was sentimental value.
Regardless, we stayed in touch here and there and I looked at more of his books via email, gave him storage advice, etc. He emailed me to say he was in town this week for another medical appointment and asked me if I was still interested. I said yes. So, we agreed to meet.
With both of us wearing masks and social distancing I looked at his books in the trunk of his car in the hotel parking lot (we joked people would think we were doing a drug deal) and he had a change of heart and I upped my offer a bit and he came down a lot, so we did the deal.
This is a sample of what I think is the “better stuff” but I still have a lot of 10 cent Dell’s and early cartoon/Disney books to look at and process along with a few other comic books.
In total, it was like two and a half banker boxes worth, books towered side by side (didn’t really do anything with my storage advice).
He mentioned he thought he had more crime books but has not been able to find them. I told him if he did, to call me. He seemed happy, so hopefully if he does ever find them, he will call me again.
I don’t come across these type of books too often, even though most of them are low to mid graders, I wanted them. Plus, quite a few of them seem to be Canadian editions which I find interesting. It will take a bit of time to process, but here are a few group shots of what I picked up.
My buying drought is definitely over!

Question/Request: As it will likely be quite some time before I can or will actually do a local show, does anyone have any "plans" they would be willing to share about building/constructing a wall book display? Thinking now may be a good time to look into it and possibly "be ready" for whenever I do another show as I feel my wall display is the only real improvement I can make to my show set up at this point.
Pictures of peoples wall displays also appreciated!
Please keep in mind I have no construction skills

Be nice to see him come back on here for a minute, but don't think he wants to listen to the abuse
Abuse? That's a bit of a stretch...People have tried to offer, genuine, sincere advice and he comes back with more wonkiness and sometimes, yes, aggressiveness, so yeah, some have lost their cool or patience with him out of sheer frustration but very few have been "abusive" I would say.
