Interested in opinions on this copy for Batman #423.  A few light spine ticks but not much else wrong with the book that I can see. Thanks!

All opinions appreciated. Mostly interested to see how people feel the 'white spots'/colour loss(?) by the spine would impact grade. Could these be a printing defect?

I'd tell you what my older copies said.. but in a fit of foolishness and having issues with space, I got rid of them. One of several things I'd do differently today. 

@Wall-Crawler - you picked up an old copy recently didn't you?  What does it say in that? 

My reprint of OSPG 1st edition is before they were published, but my OSPG #12 circa 1982-83 states:

Hello all, looking for opinions!  

Please note that top edge, back cover, near the middle there is a miniscule tear that doesn't show up super well in the scans.

From what I read from the article this is a man who has a great passion but is putting it aside for an even greater passion - His family.

This is the mark of a truly good person, husband and father. 

I wish him and his family the best and hope for the best possible outcomes.

Back to ebay...Sigh...

If no takers by Sunday evening, going to move this to eBay again...

VERY nice copy of this book too!  A lot of copies of this book have almost an orange-ish tint to it. The reds here are very deep.
