Whetteon: I checked out lyriaexchange....surprisingly there's no top spot for 6th gun.....what's the dealio? I know there are tons of high priced 6th guns for sale...why don't you think that's reflected in any of the "most popular searches", "most watched", "most expesive" or "most bids" cateogries? Not sure how it works, but it defintely was a shocker that 6th gun seemed absent completely with all the fervor.

Any likelihood this will impact the pricing on Spawn #1? That comic has been in $ limbo for quite some time....methinks it might not be bad to start a bit of observation on that title in general since 9 got picked up on the radar.

Look at you hunting for info. bro!!! If I answer the question directly, it'll be a spoiler. I think the question I asked stemmed from a conversation about 'where' the ghosts come from and 'how' they're integrated with Fabian. Once I understood the premise behind that, I asked "if there is room for more ghosts". It's really hard to discuss this without dropping too many tidbits. I'm the kind of person that doesn't mind someone telling me the ending of a movie I haven't seen....cause I'm still going to see it if I truly want to.....the same with books or other media. But I know there are alot of other individuals who don't like that sort of thing.....they want to be surprised and want a big reveal to be the fruit of their labor. So for those people, I'd rather not delve into it. But by issue 3 most of the answers to these questions will be evident from what I understand. Not that this was inferred or even insinuated: but did it ever occur to you that there could be other ghosts and Fabian is just hooked into 5 right now? Maybe there'll be a switchie ITF......it's not out of the realm of possibilities..... but once again anything I've said was gleaned from casual conversations about the dreamstone, the main antagonists in the series as well as why Fabian appears to be all messed up from the ghosts. I'm really diggin this comic.

I am having a hard time not spilling the beans with spoilers for upcoming issues. There's so much coolness yet to come. I can say without giving away too much: that the character on the cover of issue two that looks like an assassin with the blades....is in fact a priest of the "spider-gods". Or that was the general gist.....unless I was so baked I misheard. I asked if there would be "room for more ghosts", and got a "maybe". Based upon some other conversation, it may even be likely to happen ITF...but that's not a confirmation. I did inquire also about the name of the decaying rotting zombified assassin that gets blown up with a grenade....he seemed so cool that he must be a regular character. Apparently he has no name....and was supposed to be a one off..... I implored Frank and Chris to make him a full time character.....who knows maybe my plea was heard. ^ ^ Hopefully that won't ruin the suspense for anyone....just little drops of goodness to enrich the mythology.

I guess I'm one of those culprits. I do in fact love anything relating to Preacher. And the prices you stated having paid doesn't inhibit my interest one bit. I wouldn't buy what I didn't love, so I'll keep my interest on the table in case you ever decide to part with any of them. The five ghosts OA was quite an opportunity for a number of reasons: 1) I do in fact love the artwork. 2) It was readily available locally. 3) It was affordable. 4) It directly supports the artist(s). If I ever did part with any of my OA, it would have to be to someone that truly wanted it for the same reasons. (Or if I wanted to pull a whiz-bang throw everything at you but the kitchen sink magic gift surprise auction ala Krighton style. ) If there ever was a creative team more deserving of support it would be Frank and Chris. Clearly they aren't in it for the $...cause there's little of that on the creative end until you're Kirkman rich. But they obviously have a passion for their material and it bleeds into and permeates every inch of the end product.

If you're looking for OA, wait until the second issue hits....Frank showed me some of the new issue drafts from Chris on his phone.....off the chain!!!!!! There's such cool spider-god coolness coming down the pike that you'll be blown away. Let's just say things are really just starting to heat up! The more I talked to him about the behind the scenes skinny on the five ghosts....the more I got invested the the rest of the story. It's a very cool concept....and I wouldn't doubt if it got some hollywood interest sooner or later.

Yep, sorry lemon.....but I did leave some meat on the bone....and you grabbed a page that I was within a second of purchasing as well.... That teaser with the spider-god-folk dragging Fabian off is person_without_enough_empathyin!!! Glad you showed up.....in spite of the fact alot of the books appear to have those same printer defects, we were both able to pick through the stacks and get the best of the best. I grabbed a buncha variants and regulars.....with a little press they should be better than good. Of course someone had snatched the panel I really was after: Fabian possessed and levitating off the ground with no dialogue. Someone else had already grabbed the double page spread with Fabian going medieval on spider heads sword style. Oh well.... I was joking with Chris that Krighton and Cujobyte are the Newman to my Jerry Seinfeld regarding OA....LMAO! Gonna have to throw some shots up of the OA haul later. Good to meet you as well bro....always good to see boardies...and very glad you were able to take advantage of the late notice. I know both Chris and Frank appreciate the interest in what they consider their humble material. And not for nothing, you got that OA at a helluva price....I shoulda tried to chizzel off a few $....didn't occur to me until I had done the deed.

Frank and Chris were great!!! Very nice guys and they obviously love what they do. Was able to rap with them both for awhile.....learned a bunch of insane spoilers for the series.... And as far as a continuing of the mini.....that's apparently the plan if the readership is there. Since the first print sold out in 1 day, it's hopefully a big thumbs up in that direction. BTW: Very killer OA was available.....apparently Cujobyte and Krighton both beat me to the pages I was foaming at the mouth for...but I got my share of panels as well.....and they're uber cool!!!!!!

Agreed and had stated the same in my post. Just suggested a potential inner circle round table discussion via pm earlier so by the time you go to purchase you're not left with nothing except inflated auction prices to pay. I'm all for this thread being broadcast, but timing is sometimes key for the flip. Nothing wrong with some insider tradey action prior to the main course.
