  1. I have a second Crown #7, but wasn't sure I'll be offering that one up. I always thought that was a tough issue to find. One of the tougher Crowns.
  2. Freddy #19 Raw 6.5 $25 - SOLD GGA from Charlton.
  3. Crown Comics #7 2.0 $250 - SOLD I always loved this cover. Matt Baker cover and interior Ace of the Newsreels art. Cover is detached. Name written in pencil on first page margin.
  4. Jumbo #164 Raw 1.0 $55.00 SOLD Cover is detached and taped. Scarcer later issues of Jumbo.
  5. Dark Mysteries #8 Raw ~1.8 $55 SOLD Cover is attached by lower staple. Some chips are loose. See second scan of cover for pieces set in place.
  6. I have a few random golden age books to put up. It will be a small thread with no discernible theme. Shipping is $5 per Order. US only. Paypal, check, MO is acceptable. Returns within 7 days.
  7. We have a box at the local UPS Store. It costs us $9-10/month. It is 5 minutes from our house and always easy to get to. It also has the benefit of being a commercial address, which lowers inbound shipping cost from Fedex and UPS. We get good service and with lowered shipping costs, the net cost is very reasonable. Packages are never left out in the elements and we don't miss deliveries.
  8. Seeing as how you convinced me to buy every other copy of this comic I have...
  9. If you have an ebay store, fees are 9.15% with a $250 cap. Ebay also runs seller promos. Through today, I am able to list and sell items with a $10 final value fee cap.
  10. I was doing some GPA research on a couple books. Mister Mystery #12 doesn't have any recent sales recorded in GPA. I searched eBay and a 3.5 sold on Sept 20 for $3,155, but it does not show up in GPA. Any reason for this? I don't see that it was a reserve auction that didn't meet reserve. The eBay auction ID is 202438563883. I am looking at GPA now and see no sales (any grade) in all of 2017 and 2018.
  11. Here are a couple other pics. They are taken with a flash. The book is not as tan as the pics suggest. It doesn't get tanner near the top of the cover.
  12. Eerie Comics #1 (Avon 1947) Cover is detached and split. Pages and cover are tan, but not brittle. The figures and title are outlined in pencil. The first few wraps have a spine split at the bottom. See pic. I will include a replica edition by Canton Street Press. GPA shows a 1.8 sold in December 2017 for $1,200. I am asking $1,250 shipped (continental US).
  13. The rules: Shipping to the US is $5 per order regardless of the number of books unless otherwise stated. Int'l please inquire. Returns within 7 days of receipt. Payment by Paypal, check, MO. One book to start. I may add other PCH later tonight.
  14. Several years ago, I responded to a craigslist ad in Atlanta. I asked for some additional pictures of the collection. He sent me several of the books laid out on the floor. He took the pics naked. How do I know? Pointing the camera towards the floor, every picture had his...ah, manhood, visible in the pic. I never responded. A few days later he emailed again saying it was an accident and the books were still available. Sure...
  15. I tried to print a label for a package that was not an ebay sale. Previously, I could use the multi order shipping tool and print labels for any package - boxes to family, forum sales, etc even if no payment was received through Paypal. Now, the multi order tool seems to be gone and I had to go to the post office for a box last week. Can you no longer print shipping labels for non-ebay? I'm using the personal Paypal account. Maybe the business account is different.
  16. A PCH with a Halloween date stamp? I have a copy and would have bought this one just for the stamp.
  17. It has been a little while, but I've never had a problem with Mile High. I think you just have to play to their strengths. When I needed to fill in a bunch of reader copies from independent 1980s publishers, they were the best source. Prices were reasonable and certainly better than buying onesies and twosies from a bunch of sellers. But keys and/or high grade books? I'm not sure how they sell those books given their prices.
  18. Ha! I did see Rick's post. I'm not all current on these books and am open to offers. Don't be shy, I'd like to move these.
  19. Take it in thread wins, but PMs always accepted and encouraged.
  20. Laugh #98 Small spine split at bottom. Small piece out of back cover at upper spine. Lower right corner of cover barley hanging on. A 3.0 for $18.
  21. Jughead #52 SOLD Nice headlight cover. General wear. Call it a 5.5 for $25.
