@mgroetz REALLY outdid himself with my SS gift. Thank you! When I had received the package, I took it out of the box and put it in my closet. I had felt it and knew there was a slab. To say that I was surprised this morning was an understatement. Then I saw the 101 and flabbergasted. I’m going to read it later.The Suydam is fantastic as well, signed and with some great art. One of my main goals will be to get a DD1, as I’ve had several copies including the beautiful Rocky Mountain at one point and miss DD in my collection AND Get some nice Gold- like a nice Cap between 3 and 10, or some early Human Torch, specifically Torch 8! In the years I've been here, I've only seen one other Tec 27 posted for sale. It's truly amazing, and any one of us would be honored to own it. Whoever ends up with it will be smiling, that's for sure.

I have a great friend that I collect comics with. For years, I've been saying "Buy an AF15!" "Buy an AF15!!!" He loves the book, loves Spidey, and continually holds off. I remember I was going to get him a 3.0 for 7K, then it was him and I going back and forth when it was 15. All I have to say is be wise with your purchase, be ready to pounce like a lion, and get ready to gitty' up if you want a copy. Stop saying "I want a copy, but it's not the right time," or "I'll have to sell so many books." Trust me, all of the books are "gettable" again. Get the AF, X-Men, or whatever book you're seeking and enjoy it. Comics are supposed to be FUN!! Also, I don't see prices tanking. Like many of us that have been here, there will be ups and downs, but X-Men and Spidey are here to stay.
