Wow congrats!  Where did you find that it? The stacks?  Dollar bin?  Flea market?

Comic shop longbox. It wasn't priced, guy went to his Overstreet guide (LOL), $4.99

It's a place I rarely go to because the prices are insanely high and they tend to know their sh*t so this one got past them.

Oh yeah, I also got Marvel Tails #1 and Peter Porker #12 off em for $3 each

  2. After yawning all the way through WD #182, really just buying it out of habit after Negan went off into the wilderness, I'm one or two issues away from dropping this garbage title completely. I don't know any other way to say it besides "IT SUCKS!"

No way am I alone in this judging from how small the pile of each new issue is when the LCS opens on the 1st Wed of each month. Nobody is buying multiples as a spec anymore and half of the readers who grabbed 1 copy without fail have dumped it.

Kirkman better get with it because it's harder and harder to say which is worse, the comic or the tv show.

    Ok, they suck equally

    Krighton sighting!

    My guess:

    Revival 1 1st print - @ 18k print run

    Revival 2 1st print - @ 10k print run

I remember when Revival #2 came out and a large portion if the 1st printing was damaged, like close to half of it which was why the 2nd printing was rushed. Still don't get why anyone would care about the series anymore

  4. Every issue from the last year is still on the LCS rack for cover price. That wasn't happening 2,3, or 4 years ago, you could hardly get extras of a month old issue at cover once the new one was out.

Shops are ordering more copies and getting stuck with them because nobody is grabbing 5-10 copies of each issue anymore to sit on as an investment. Factor in the current $3.99 cover price and the quality of the stories of late and you have a sinking turd

  5. The show is gradually getting worse and the comic isn't that far behind in its suckability. Die hard fans of the show don't collect the comics, they buy TPBs and will spend $500 at a convention to get autographs from the actors but wouldn't drop $500 on a WD #1 CGC 9.8 if you were having a fire sale, just the facts man.

There's no new characters to spec on, that ship has sailed far far away. Even if Alpha, Lydia, Beta, The Whisperers, or God forbid friggin Princess become major characters on the show and last for multiple seasons, everyone bought 10 copies or more of each of those issues and will basically be selling them to each other, or trying to. I only ever had 1 copy of WD #1, paid $400, sold it to a friend for $800 and he ended up getting a 9.6, he was happy, I was happy (though we both graded it at 9.2, so good for him!)

  6. Sold all of my #1 thru #3's, which were the only ones of the series I was stashing the last few years, and ain't looking back.

Not having any more copies I can honestly say that I don't see The Eternals coming to the MCU. Other than Ikaris and Sersi, the character names don't exactly roll of the tongue and there's no dynamic or dimension with any of them to where they'd be a household name like Rocket and Groot. GOTG was a lightning strikes only once event for the C and D listers.

If Eternals can take off overnight from a well spread internet rumor, bring on the chatter about Skull The Slayer, Omega The Unknown and Modred The Mystic!

Did you call them? Or just complain on these boards. I have two orders for asm 800 in with them. So, I am curious about these stories you speak of.

FYI I fired off a nasty email, they refunded my money and chastised my use of vulgar language lol

I posted about it on the boards to give a heads up to whoever else didn't get their copies and the lousy condition to expect.

They pre-sell slabbed CGC 9.8's before the book is even released through their site, and their partner sites, and some dealers on ebay who buy in bulk from them.

Well, where do you think the cherry picked raw 9.8 copies go?

Not to you, me or anyone else who orders from them and has to wait a week AFTER Thanos #18 is out to get their variant of Thanos #17.

They sent out a B.S. form letter email apologizing for the delay because much of the shipment was "damaged" and they were waiting for replacements.

I smell fertilizer on that one because some dealers on ebay already had their 9.8 slabs in hand and for sale.

Actually the "replacement copies" would be 2nd printings regardless wouldn't they? I mean if there was only X amount made as they say and they had to replace them, replace them with what? X-X=0.

I hope your ASM 800's arrive safely and in a timely manner but it seems the only way you'll get a 9.8 from them is to buy it pre-slabbed

  8. The Thanos #17 Comic Mint exclusive variant should fetch premium prices in high grade. The one I ordered from them which took over a month to get was filled with spine ticks, and staple rubs. I guess they hoarded all of the 9.8's for themselves.

Seriously, don't order anything from those jerks. I read the horror stories about their crappy service and low grade raws, the only way you'll get anything close to a 9.8 is if you buy it slabbed from them. I should've listened to what others had said.

Is it ok to say "whores" on here? That's what they are. F THEM!
