I will be picking live. Easier to decide if many choices are removed and more fun.

Merry Christmas everyone.
Waiting for the order of draw list. No use making a wish list if I am last.

Thank you @Bluemedgroup (Alain) for the cool comics. I thought the giant Snickers bar was just stuffing for the package until I realized it is for real. It is huge. Going to have to share this one.

thank you to @spidermanbeyond for the gift
I got excited and opened it early as kids were coming over and it might not have survived being under the tree
You're welcome. Merry Christmas.

Quick answer is No. The 1st time it would have been worth the $12 to press. Not now. Think about it. It costs $18/$20 to regrade plus $12 pressing plus say $25 to ship it back and forth (this is conservative in shipping cost). Pressing will improve your comic by 0.5 to 1.0. 6.0 and 6.5 are worth about the same $120, 7.0 is worth $140. Even best case scenario, the book improve 1.5 to 7.5 is only worth $160.
Save your money and buy a higher grade already pre-slabbed and sell this one.

but it only has 100th place lined up to pick as that is how many prizes there were to "start", it might start it's way back up from there but idk.....that is how its worked in the past I think
I think unclaimed prizes go back to their donators.

Is everyone ok with me jumping the line and choosing next?
You have not missed anything.

We have to check if there is a list or not. Otherwise, we have wait. In the past, picking ends up at stand still until then.

Since the start time was never officially set, I have no issue waiting a bit for people.
Actually, it was officially 1 pm Pacific time today but so many posts people might have missed it/

Thank you. I agree with the anomaly part too. Last year I was 35th place with 42 points.
There is definitely a lot of skill involved. And, of course, there is a lot of luck as well. Some people like Toro are consistently in the top 5.

Guess I'll look at my prize list ranking a bit. I can't decided on my order of choices from #3 through about 10 , they are all good ones! I'll PM it to thirdgreenham if it looks like I wont be able to pick live, but for now I'm here.
Looks like you are not going to need your top 20 list

Is the picking going to be happening here?
Yes.

Final rankings are out! Are we starting soon?

Congratulations, @KryptoMayor and also @Ron_C. Ron used to be down with the lower half of the pack. What incredible improvement! There is definitely a learning curve to this game. All those years of tolling and heartache paid off.
Thanks to everyone for a great contest.

Wondering the same. The one with the most 3's?
As I recall, on tiebreaks with same # of bullseyes, earliest round with the bullseyes wins. I could be wrong.

Hey everyone, please check the 2nd and 3rd posts in this thread for a list of all of the prizes. Make sure you jot down which ones you like. Try to get me a list of your top 10 or 20 (or all of them, if you really want), in order of your preference. I'm going to use the list you PM me to choose your prize tomorrow, unless you happen to be there and want to pick live.
For me, doing the prize picking tomorrow will be a little hit or miss, so you'll have to please bear with me and I'll update as time permits. Saturday should be fine to finish it off.
** please note** create a new PM thread with me so we don't bother sckao. Thanks.
I updated my prize list on Page 11. Made change to Prize A to choice of size of T-Shirt L, M, or S vs only L. Also added one more prize.
Thanks to you both thirdgreenham and sckao for running this awesome contest for so many years. Been a great ride.

Hey gang,
So I have been casually putting together the 24 issue Godzilla run and thought I would clean up on eBay tonight. Some seller had 6 issues up for sale all CGC 9.8 , perfect right ? I will even go over GPA by a wide margin to ensure that I can grab a large chunk of the run at once. NOPE.
I got hammered by other bidders driving the prices of these $75-$100 books into the $200+ range.
just really surprised by this , any thoughts ?
Thanks, CB
You are probably not the only who trying to put a 9.8 run together. I used to think I will put a ASM Spidey McFarlane 298-328 CGC 9.8 run and X-Men 94-143 CGC 9.8 run together then I realize it would be too expensive and hard. No one wants 9.4 and 9.6 ruining their run so that is why your 9.8's are so high. I thought a Godzilla 9.8 run might be doable but realize it would not be easy or cheap.
