  1. I've listed several Signature Series anBooks as well as some graded Sketch Covers on eBay. If you don't like the price feel free to make an offer. The worse thing I can say is "NO!"
  2. I wonder if this will impact collecting styles. For myself, the single random page isn't all that enticing anymore. I like having a little "mini-run" of pages if it's possible. If I do have a single page I do find myself looking for the page before/after to add to the collection.
  3. In all fairness, that's "For sale (maybe)." He may choose not to sell it (when his flipping tactics don't pan out)(maybe).
  4. Thanks to all of those that "enquired" The items that were available that didn't have prices are now coming back into the fold. However, the 25% OFF sale on www.NSNart.com is now live
  5. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there is probably a 99.9% chance you can find a White Queen of his on CAF.
  6. Just got presented with an offer for a LARGE purchase, so I'm looking to raise some funds. I don't have a lot active in MY CAF, but if your familiar with my collection you know generally what type of stuff I collect. I'll be activating some items later on that I'm finally willing to let go of. Some of these include: Cliff Chiang LOTDK cover (held since 2007) BLACK CAT MYSTERY 31 (held since 2007) FABLES 11 Pg 6 (held since 2012) HELLBLAZER 73 cover (held LONG time) HOUSE OF MYSTERY v2 #13 cover (held since 2009) These are just some of the items. I'll make more decisions tonight as I go through some things. Just to be clear, this isn't a fire sale , Just looking to raise some funds. If you're familiar with my collection you also know I'm not ascared to hold onto a piece for a decade to two. Once the required amount is raised (hopefully) I'll end this silliness. If you're sitting there contemplating sending a PM about one of those pages from my, um, "other" group of pages know that it will take a SERIOUS above FMV price to shake one of those loose. I sold three pages from their before and I still get angry when I see them on CAF . ======================================================================================================= On a semi-related note, my annual sale begins tomorrow on NSNart. The timing is coincidental, you can't make this stuff up folks.
  7. Lou Haberman has an impressive collection and an equally impressive display.
  8. Not sure if this constitutes an attempted flip or not. If I'm reading this correctly, THIS IS A PAGE CUT FROM AN ARTIST EDITION BOOK . But worth the price, since this is only the second time it's been printed
  9. Never, ever, Never ever ever put taint on OA I'm never buying from Comix4fun again if he continues to put his taint on artwork
  10. If you want to know all of the sordid details, PM me
  11. The almost 20 year search is over ! ! ! ! I now know where this page i purchased on eBay way back when because it was "cool" and cheap was published
  12. I've talked with Terry Maltos (Al Rio's rep/close friend) and he has told me it is NOT Al Rio. I'm hoping one day someone will recognize the bad guys (men in black / man in boxers / the nurse) and be able to tell me which book it was in. But since so many of those early Image books were so shi not read by a lot of people so far it's been a bust.
  13. If they are good enough to protect my OA they are good enough to protect me while LARPing <---actual image of me LARPing
  14. Early on I got a couple dozen backing boards/mylars for some of my OA. Most of the mylars ended up splitting along one side or the other. Since then I've only used portfolios.
  15. I still think COLLECTORZ is the way to go. I have multiples of a few books. I just make an individual entry for each book so I can the individual grade/purchase price/purchase date ect. Each book gets an individual inventory number which I enter in one of the modifiable fields COLLECTORZ gives you.
  16. I considered that, but it's not to scale
  17. That reminds me that I have this page that I have no idea if/where it was published or who the artist(s) are. My only clue is it is on an IMAGE board.
  18. I was hoping for a reply from either an in-the-know dealer/rep or a "respected" member of the hobby. My resolution this year is to buy blindly based on what others think is collectable.
