  1. Bill, I think that's my old copy (though I don't recall the tape pull being colored that badly) - is the last page somewhat loose? I bought my old copy from Dave 'The Dentist' Anderson and was not happy when I found undisclosed restoration, so I traded it away in disgust. NYWF '39, NYWF '40, and WB 1 would make a great three book set... The book has the opposite effect on me. When I look at it, it pleases me. No disgust at all. Last page is secure at the staples but loose at the top and bottom. So it may well be your copy, however this one won't be going back onto the market until my heirs are selling them all, so its journey has ended. And before Bedrock chimes in, yes Richard, some books are staying for the long haul now, as finances are nice and stable. I'd be very proud to own that book. I think it looks great! Well done, Bill.
  2. Never noticed this Captain Nazi cover before. Probably because his back is to the camera Love the girl on the table.
  3. Listed a low-grade Human Torch 12 in the marketplace. Y'know, the one with the arm being burned off! Human Torch 12
  4. Boy's Ranch is a good read and it's 100% Simon & Kirby cover to cover. And since the series only lasted 5 or 6 issues, it's pretty easy to put the whole run together. There's also a hardcover published about 15 years ago that reprints them all. Another idea is the Western Roundup series of Dell Giants. I've never read any, but since Dells are usually a good read, I figure these are too. They're cheap and easy to find, and they have 80 or 100 pages, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. I think the series lasted about 25 issues.
  5. Cool! I've never seen the first Aquaman story before. I didn't know he fought Nazis in it!
