Got this book in a big trade with Esquirecomics. All-Flash is ignored by some, but I love it! I'll probably put a run of them together now that the big one is out of the way.

Picked up this nice Action war cover a few days ago. I think the German soiled his pants!

Rust. It's the woman's name on the cover. (not kidding) I read through some of it on Amazon. I plan on reading it soon. Is the original in b&w? Yes.

That is a tough Matt Baker book in any grade. I have a line on a copy local here in Alaska.....what's the going rate for a G/VG in your opinion....been thinking about getting it for years from a collector. Hi Collin I supplied this book to Mark as part of a trade. It's tough to price as so few of them sell. I remember finding one in VG about 7 years ago, and the price was $1000. I passed. For this one, I'd estimate it at $450, plus or minus $100.

IMHO It doesn't look like Baker to me. Did he ever work for Avon? bb I agree. Not Baker, IMHO. Not Baker according to OS also. But it's still a great cover and a nice book. Are the innards as good as the cover? The CGC lable that was with the book says Matt Baker cover. Any way to tell for sure? Ken I think it's Baker. The woman's face looks very similar to other Baker faces, such as the cover to It Rhymes With Lust. Check out the eyebrows.

All great books Fury But this one is It's a really pretty copy. There was a whole pile of All-Stars, and all but this one and the #33 were low grade, taped up, reader copies. I'm glad I looked through them carefully!

I picked up these beauties yesterday at the Philly Comic Con. For a small show, there sure are some great books in the room. All-Star Comics #33 This is an upgrade from my other copy which is a G- 1.8 (but it is a Signature Series signed by both Kubert and Hasen!) All-Star Comics #53 One more down in my quest for a complete run of All-Stars... Heroic Comics #3 After seeing Ciorac's and others copies of Heroic Comics, I just had to have one! (thumbs u Supersnipe #6 (#1) Another book that made my wantlist after seeing other copies posted here.

I just emailed the seller to see if he knows anything about where the book came from. The seller is from central PA, and Winters was born and raised in the Lancaster PA area. At the time the book came out in the spring of 1941, he was finishing up his senior year at Franklin and Marshall College. That fall he enlisted in the army. So, it's probably a long-shot that it's the same Winters, but the few pieces of info I have do fit. Who knows?
