Between Walking Dead being a huge success, Clone being in development and now news that Outcast is going to be a show, people are probably still betting that ToT gets a splashy TV deal in the near future. It was also a good read from the first 8 or so issues I read.

I was at a show in Vancouver today, and saw this guy in line who looked like Jimmy Linguini...like, if he let himself go a bit and maybe experimented with Heroin. So I go up to him and say "Are you YouTube rap sensation Jimmy Linguini?" He called me a . So basically, my findings were inconclusive.

What Green Arrow book was affordable? Deadshot? Early Batman issue. Oliver Queen and Speedy? Share 1st appearance with Aquaman. Look at prices for New Teen Titans #2 before and after the show aired. Burning. I hate that Double First appearance thing. Like if I want the first appearance of Zatara... ACTION COMICS #1. So, probably very unlikely I'll get that one.

I keep hoping for Deathstroke to make it to the main timeline.

Show is great, but the one thing that is bothering me now is why does Oliver keep pining over Laurel? SHE IS AWFUL. I can't remember the last time she did anything endearing, or that would make her desirable. Oliver is a handsome billionaire. He can definitely get hotter, lower maintenance than Laurel.

I Don't see Harley Quinn #0 on the release notes for November 6. Did it get pushed? DC's web page still lists it as Nov.6

What about her first animated cel from Joker's Favor? Maybe we should just pickle Bruce Timm's brain.

Well after messing about for half the day, the package was finally found. And my first ever CGC Submission is back! 4 out of 5 are better than expected. I got burnt on the Hawkman though. I was expecting much higher. However, it was the first Hawkman #4 I ever got, and I was so excited to have one that I never inspected it inside out to grade it. So It would appear I missed a pretty massive flaw, which is unusual. If you've ever seen one of my sales threads, you'd see how thorough I am with evaluating and grading books. This was also my first submission to Joey, and I have nothing but good things to say about that as well.

Well, I got a thing saying where I could pick it up. And I went there. And they couldn't find it.

So... I went to pick up my package, and nobody knows where it is.

Theres a note on my door saying I have a package to pick up. It's from Florida, and I wasn't expecting anything, so I'm thinking it may be my very first CGC Submission returning Fingers Crossed.

It's unfortunate because a lot of the best Metal shows happen there, but it's in an awful part of town. I once knew a guy who became a police officer and got assigned that "beat". He promptly quit after finding a severed head sitting in the gutter, all casual, like it was a discarded pop bottle. Not to mention Robert Pickton was using that area as his hunting grounds for about 30 years. Fun Fact: The farm where all the bodies were buried/fed to pigs is now a Costco and a bunch of other stuff.

It is the best modern book right now. If/when Snyder leaves the next writer will have their hands full trying to match it. I've always enjoyed reading batman no matter who the writer or artist is. But Snyder Grant Morrison has taken batman to a whole new level of entertainment. +1 The entire JLA for that matter. Morrison was extraordinarily creative. I'm a big fan of Grant, so I'm going to +2. I'm also a fan of +2s.

What the hell is Hastings? Here in Canada, it's a street where 30% of the population has HIV. I can see why nobody expects to buy comics there.

I saw some 3ds on the shelf for cover at a couple stores this weekend. That may have been the quickest I've seen the market go from hysteria to I don't give a damn in all my years collecting.

He actually says they are in exceptional condition and that whoever buys them should get them graded and quadruple his money. I took a day off work drove round trip 2.5 hours to buy 6-33 for $400. I get the comics and #19 had a coffee stain on it back and front cover and multiple pages. How in the f@#$ could someone not notice a coffee stain. Ugggggh! Nver again. I have a lot of stories like that. This past week I went well out of my way, for a Mint set of Batman 1-3, New 52. Spine had mad stress lines, and the cover was all wrinkly. After the person said it has no dents, and had never been read.
