Are you going to be at the show ?.... I'm planning on it. Good show today. Not too much in the way of cheap copper goodies but I grabbed a bunch of high grade Astonishing Tales (Deathlok issues) for $2 a piece. Couldn't pass them up at that price. I was there with Comicartfan, picked up a NM+ copy of Sandman 1. He picked up a MOS 18 for $1, Looks like a 9.8. And it was a newsstand copy You guys are goddamned savages. All I found this weekend was some Rom the Space Knights in a few boxes of Moderns I obtained. We look for comics, we don't stand and talk to people for 20 minutes, we don't find anything, within 10 minutes, move onto the next table. I'm not the chatty type.

Kind of wish I'd have known the hazards before hand I tried to do a search too, but you'd have an easier time finding schematics for your own nuclear reactor. If the government ever wanted to keep something a secret, they'd just have to tie the information to improving a comic book's condition somehow.

Definitely. 1st appearances are the new #1st issue. If only this had been the case for the past few years with all the super books that have come and gone cheap that are now HOT, HOT, HOT. This thread is bad for business. It's a money machine for lurkers. I keep a lot to myself, or use PM's. I agree I only discuss books that have already hit the radar a TON of times for that reason anymore and are common knowledge to most. Please add me to your investment mailing list

I tried using an eraser on a book, and all it did was crinkle the cover up real bad. So I can safely say, don't use erasers.

That reminds me, has anyone seen those ridiculous ads for Arrow in comics lately? All it says is "Arrow" and then has a picture of Roy with his shirt off. That's the whole ad! That's why women have named the show "six-pack." Really? My wife calls it "Felicity time"

I also thought it was weird when he shot an arrow through Roy's leg. There are villainous thugs that he hasn't wounded that badly.
