ok i tried to watch the original but was too distracted etc and stopped about 15 minutes in
however those 15 minutes help explain the first 15 minutes of the new one, so i went back to it and rewatched it and really focused
2 hours later i was enjoying it but had to stopped because i had something pressing to do
finished last night and now cannot wait to see part 2
fantastic movie, well made, excellent acting, great great great!

The hero worship of "stan lee" is a little weird

Thanks for the info. In the absence of information, I had to make assumptions.
For the 76 that have been checked, they all have new grade dates in Jan/Feb of this year. Some have grades vacated and some still have grades. My assumption was if the grade was vacated, the book was confirmed fraudulent, which is why the old cert number and grade were invalidated.
So I guess my question is: if yours checked fine and still got a new cert number, what are the 13 books that were regraded in Jan/Feb but have the same grade and same cert number? I'm not saying you know the answer to this, but maybe CGC can shed some light.
The inconsistency and lack of transparency needs to be addressed.

Yes. It's pretty easy to follow and had well known actors from the time. Also Sting from "The Police" and Pugs.

Quinn's Ideas is a Youtube channel that does an incredible job of capturing all things Dune. Including researching the history of this fictional universe. To include reviewing the SYFY Channel's Dune series.
 
If you give his channel a try to warm your brain up to this series, it help get you over the hump having no familiarity with this book series (I'm assuming - sorry if I am wrong).
He even summarizes the different houses ruling this universe, their history and motivations, and why they experience conflicts.
 

Skip the 1st 15 mins?  

does it look absurd, definitely but it's a king kong/godzilla movie - i don't expect nothing more than big fights, loud noise and a good time
not sure what people want or expect - maybe it's time for some people to watch downtow abbey instead

Here's the thing with me and the Monsterverse;
I don't care how bad they are, I'm gonna see them and LOVE them!
Cause monsters. 

The first one was such a giant PoS.  Going to have to skip this one.

If that is true then OSHA will be all over them, and if OSHA fines them for work place safety then the civil lawsuit has as extremely good chance of making them pay.  

I in the Hollywood industry myself. Everyone thinks of the top actors and not remember the others who put on the show. Rest in peace to your friend. 

saw it the other day and liked it very much. i thought Kamala was very funny and brought levity that wasn't forced naturally into the film
i think the actors used for Monica and the villian were poor choices
i also think the issue with these movies, is that it's missing the "must see" appeal of the first group of movies, they were events, these don't have the same urgency and necessity like before
probably could have been a streaming only movie and it would have been fine for me
much more enjoyable than many recent films (ant man 3, thor love and thunder (had some real potential) and bp2)
