  1. And just to add to the lineage, I bought this as a 9.6 I think from Highgrade comics then sold it to BA. I did think it was a 9.8, beautiful copy.
  2. Never seen some of these books before, cool.
  3. Need some Anchorman cologne, 60% of the time it works 100% of the time.
  4. Nice one Ben, it presents well. Never owned a copy before.
  5. Yup, it's almost hard to believe when you look at these scans. Hopefully one day we will see proper scans of all the Church Timleys.
  6. The pristine spines on these Church books. Incredible given that they are pushing almost 90 years old.
  7. Just curious, these issues where there are no Church copies, did they ever exist? Are they recorded on Chuck's original inventory of the collection or are they missing issues?
  8. Until instead of camel toe they take it a step further and add in a package.
  9. I wish those under bidders at $5M, $6M would post in these forums or elsewhere, funny how you never hear of or see any of these buyers.
  10. Yes I agree, was just stiring the pot. Probably a greater chance one of those 9.0's gets a magic upgrade.
  11. Any side bets this 8.5 finds itself in a 9.0 holder in the near future?
  12. Typical response of no we don't focus on that but then they do the exact opposite. Deflect, deny and then keep producing .
  13. Aside from the Cap issue and the AA#16 you really don't hear about too many other high profile issues that have been graded, certainlydont see msny Church Timelys in the census last time I looked. Not sure where all those ubber high grade Church Spectre More Funs came from that Metro auctioned off a few years ago but they were stunning.
  14. Only known page for that issue or are there a handful of others out there?
  15. Who knows they have been locked away for decades and I don't think that many of them are graded?
  16. Or made sure that it's an inferior copy because they CPR'd their copy upwards. If the Church Timleys ever make their way back to the market they will be re-subed more times that you can say Excelsior!
