  1. Not sure if this has been mentioned already. So many great clips here is just one:
  2. Both your X-Men #113 and #116 pages are epic.
  3. So many great story arcs. Issues #111-113, then the Savage Land, Hellfire Club, The Wendigo, Days of Futures Past and then it lost steam until JRJr took it over.
  4. That was fun, looking forward to the next post auction review. The fact that there was virtually no final auction day activity on the X-Men # 137 piece did seem odd. I have no idea what the proper market values should be on any of these pieces because in the past 3-4 years everything has increased exponentially. I remember not too long ago when a great action page from issue #113 went for (at the time was a considered to be an aggressive price) $35Kish but now I’m sure it could fetch considerably more. Personally the Byrne Cap piece was my sentimental favourite and I didn’t think that the 137 was overly exciting (just my personal tastes). IMO they are many more desirable pages from Byrne’s run that gets my juices flowing.
  5. Did anyone win any WaWa books on Heritage this month? Asking since they are all in Voldy slabs and can’t be posted here.
  6. Paper loss on the BRHC or just squished and then later pressed out flat?
  7. New slab design released after they use up the existing inventory?
  8. Maybe it would be as simple as holding the book up against a special light to see if the MVS is missing? Not sure if something like that could work.
  9. The guys video is spot on. Not shocked that they didn’t do a second season after that horrible first attempt but the budget seems to be about $200M over what it should be.
  10. Not a huge, huge fan but his work on the Avengers/Invaders and The Torch is fantastic.
  11. If I had to own only 1 GA book this would be on the short list.
  12. I’m pretty sure that it would have been someone who knows the brass at CGC and almost certainly would have given them the heads up of what they were thinking of doing. Who knows maybe they even did the pressing. There is no way this book just shows up in the mail for processing one day.
  13. Just skimmed through it but possibly 10-12 years this guy has been in operation, worked con’s, had a possible LCS and CGC connection and sold hundreds of thousands of books, signature series, etc. Every submission this guy has made should be flagged but I doubt they would want to go there because it would crater their business if the list was in the thousands. Instead we will probably get a clean up in isle 2 stop gap solution with the hopes that this thread fizzles out, what a mess.
  14. Didn’t the Pacific Coast books have translucent covers on a lot of issues? Perhaps from over pressing using techniques that were still new and unrefined.
