IMHO............... DD is still one of the best values in comics..... especially if you can live with Fine to Vey Fine raw copies. GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) +1 to Jimbos comment. The shows haven't affected DD as much as you'd think (except issue #1, #4 and a few others). As someone who owns almost every DD comic ever made, I was nervous that the Netflix show would make the prices of the few issues im missing skyrocket...but 2 seasons in and I've noticed no real difference when pursuing back issues. I say now is as good as any time to start collecting the best character in comics.

i love this book and story, but so far not super impressed with its return... Writing seemed a little out of place in #8. And the image on the last page was laugh out loud terrible.

Looks like I grabbed a copy at the right time I just did the same! Finally pulled the trigger on a nice presenting low grade copy. I've been in the market for this book for a while, but if Season 2 of Daredevil is any bit as good as Season 1 then ASM129 might get completely out of reach for my budget. Pretty excited to be finally joining this club!

BTW, the red painting looks way better now that I've finished it. We have the red and white one on opposite sides of our entertainment room and it looks pretty cool. I'll get a pic soon.

My bad, maybe my photobucket is acting up again. Like Wally said, it's my poor attempt to recreate the oil painting from the Daredevil Netflix show. I need to take a better photo though, the light is making my painting look whack Thought I'd try my hand at something other than comic art...oils are hard.

Backstory: My wife and I are huge Daredevil fans, and we really enjoyed the Netflix show. We recently bought a new house and realized we don't have enough artwork to decorate it. She made a comment in passing while watching the show how much she liked the painting that Matt and Vanessa were looking it...so as a surprise for my wife I thought I'd try to recreate it to adorn our new house. This picture does it no justice because I have an overhead light on and makes it appear far lighter/brighter than it really is, but you get the point. I'm going to add the brown overlays after this layer dries. Getting close!

Not a great pic, but pumped to join this club with a cover less copy! Thanks to jsilverjanet I finally got a low grade raw copy of the grail book with a really nice repro cover. I'm a low grade hound from way back, so this is perfect for my collection!

Now that's funny.

Recently bought a grail book from Hector and I couldn't be happier. He was very generous even parting with it, which showed true class and why he's a top-notch member of the boards! It arrived promptly with bomb-proof packaging. Highly recommend buying from him.
