  1. Cannot believe how far back this thread is ON THE DAY THAT THE FINAL ISSUE WAS RELEASED?!?!? Let's hear your thoughts on the final issue. It's been a long and crazy 3 years! Side note: Can someone snag me a NYCC Variant? I can't make it to the con and I can't live with a set that's not complete
  2. Interesting. Rememder just announced in the last issue of Low that he's departing from Marvel to spend more time on his creator owned books...wonder if the decision of Tochini not coloring has anything to do with increased pace from Rick? Either way, I love Gregs colors, and I hope the book keeps the same feel. Really love this series.
  3. I'd say YTLM 1 in 9.8 and Bone #1. Wouldn't mind a full set of Infinity Gauntlet CGC 9.8 either.
  4. I am happy to report that the graphic novel of 200 pages and I am on page 128 at the moment, will be published by Caliber. That's fantastic, congrats!!!
  5. Posting a daily sketch because this thread needs a bump! Let's see that art, boardies.
  6. Bumping this thread with good reason! I've been patiently waiting for a minty set of the Thanos Quest books for many years now and finally found my dream pair of raw books! Tiny bit of wear on the #1 but I'll take it!
  7. Really nothing more that I can say but 100% agree with you here You may be the only one. Political correctness > truth. I don't think it's about political correctness being greater than truth, I think the point here is that none of us knows what the truth of Nates situation is, so i think the logical thing to do is err on the side of caution and avoid judging someone without all the facts.
  8. Wow. As a fellow mental health professional, I could not disagree more with your post. Depression manifests in many ways, and it seems strange that you would so easily diagnose based on his Internet activity. After all, there could be a manic element to his struggles. Either way, I'm surprised at the level of butt hurt this seems to generate with people, like Nate has personally wronged them or something because he dropped the ball on a comic book. I agree that his internet activity doesn't paint him in the best light, but I don't think any of us have enough info to diagnose or judge him. Hopefully he gets the help he needs.
  9. Really hope nobody is assuming they know the details of his situation based on an emotional blog post. I'd hope that another human's mental health is more important to everyone than a comic book. Just saying.
  10. Received from books from Paul as prizes in a grading contest, and he definitely made a fan out of me! His packaging rivals the best I've ever seen! As a seller I was very impressed with the quality of his packaging and presentation. The books were flawless too! Purchase with confidence from Paul!!!
  11. I'm biased because I love all Starlin/Infinity stories, but......it was my 2nd to least favorite ("The End" was definitely my least favorite). If you're a Thanos fan then it's definitely worth reading, otherwise I can't say it's a very strong series.
  12. Exactly (thumbs u Maybe natevegas judged a book by its cover?! But seriously natevegas, I think this will be a "key" issue in the whole run and definitely not pulled from shelves.
  13. That will surely get pulled. A shame too cause its a cool looking cover. They should be happy it's getting destroyed on the cover It is the mere image of it that makes them lose their minds. History is going to get censored more and more. You read the text on he cover right? This won't get pulled at all, it'll be hailed if anything. Kudos to the Jasons.
  14. internet comic sellers like you are the type of people E.S. hates the most. Pretty sure he hates speculators more than Internet comic sellers (thumbs u
  15. Thank you Internet!!! I just can't see him as Bullseye. Also, I'm admittedly not a fan of actors who play the same role in virtually every movie (See: Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, Jason Statham, etc.)
  16. You're not! It's still the best book on the stands IMO. So sad to see it winding down, but I'm curious to see what Kindt does with thst universe after its all over. Mind MGMT fo life!!!
  17. -1 E.S is what ruined this book not Nate. Says another Nate....Nate's unite form the head! -1 (or +1 I'm confused ) Im also excited to see this return. Victories over mental illnesses of any kind are so much more important than release schedules or big headed writers. I think this is great news! (But I'm biased as a mental health professional (thumbs u )
  18. Wow man this is unreal! Congrats on the accomplishment!!! Group shot group shot group shot!
  19. Agreed, this is always top of my pull list. I know the art is polarizing, but I'm in the camp that loves it. No idea when 7 comes out but I can't wait.
  20. I agree that Mind MGMT is the one series that I'll never give up, sell, trade, etc.... But dropping 1K on a #13 sketch cover truly boggles my mind. I'm almost certain that if you reached out to Sharlene you could easily own 3-5 pages of OA from Mind MGMT I guess I'm in the camp of "never pay more for a single issue that an OA page costs from that same issue". Besides, buying OA from Matt and Sharlene helps them directly...FeeBay doesn't. Ok, I'll step off my pedistool now Good luck on your quest, I'm definitely in favor of ALL Mind MGMT collecting desires!
  21. That's funny, yeah we probably have bid against each other. I'll have to check my spreadsheet for an exact number but I think I have less than 50 issues left for all 3 vol's (not counting variants in vol2...don't get me started...I hate variants). My main focus right now is landing Vol1 issues 2-12 before the hype from the show makes them balloon any further.
  22. Very cool Rob, thanks!!! I'm scary close to finishing my DD run v1,v2, and v3. I have actually been somewhat nervous to finish my DD collection because I've been working on it for so long, but your list is the perfect thing to start on next!!! (Disclaimer: I'm a low-grade collector, but I love drooling over Rob's/Harvey's high-grade gems. I don't post many pictures but I think a group shout might be warranted when I finish the run. Despite the lower grades, it is kind of ridiculous how many boxes of DD books I have )
