I'm sure bootlegs devalue the brand name. How many would be skeptical of buying a Rolex from anyone except a dealer, and provenance shouldn't matter when buying a watch....

I would like to publicly admit that I thought black Adam was a cool character as a kid, there I said it. DC or not, it was a desireable book to me back in the day. Selling into the hype now, but still a cool book. If history tells me anything, I'll have undersold my copies early before the zenith is hit, so many a hot comic hoarder will also profit.

Not a problem with me. (but I think the personal diatribe is uncalled for.) Btw, the book's a 9.8 all day long. You must live in Alaska Alaskan 9.8, I might at that to listings. Being from Alaska....not getting it....other than we can almost guarantee white pages from OO Alaskan books

I think I'll ask her if she would lend her name to my OO 9.8 unpressed white pages copy that I couldn't sell for $125 back in the day. At this point I decided to just keep it. ::

Hope the image shows here. No luck... I could spend 10 min a day and never get tired of it Sweet and congratulations on the 1-38. My goal is to complete it too in 7.0+ but Ive been settling for some 5.5-6.5's lately. Always nice presenting though

Here are a few scans of books I picked up at an estate sale in Coupeville WA. These were just 3 out of around 60 books I picked up for a very reasonable amount. I'd never owned a Flash 106 so it'll be a fun read, and the Four Color will fit into my 15 cent postage stamp rack quite nicely. Madhouse has always been a title I've enjoyed....

Well, not a Batman 1, or a moster hero book, but still a pretty tough Frazetta that I'm real happy to have come across. Blinding red even though my scan doesn't do it justice.

For $7 you can't really go wrong with any print of Bone 1

Woo Hoo. I picked up a Harbinger 2,3,4 in 9.6/9.8 range along with a booster gold 3 and Xmen 283 and bone 17 in an Antique store in Weimer Texas for the bone chilling deal of $5.50 I probably overpaid ::

Found these somewhat randomly in Coupeville Washington at an estate sale I happened to drive by. They weren't even part of the estate sale, but that's where the contact was made ;-) Oops need to see if I can resize photos on the iPhone About 50 comics with a few nicer books including that pink flash first gorilla grodd.

Love my Okajima. Best backstory pedigree out there. Female collector. Japanese. Interned. And yet the books were saved fairly pristine.
