  3. True men Found in a miscellaneous $100 collection :-). Nazi Marilyn
  4. My wife is on the side of gets it enough to appreciate the benefits more than frustrated with the time and process. Nice BAT 2....... Love it.
  5. Chip has a beauty raw signed up on eBay right now. I know its a beauty as It used to be mine. Best copy I've ever owned and I thought it might have that elusive 9.9 potential. Yes it's that nice. Should have just subbed it. :-@ http://m.ebay.com/itm/New-Mutants-98-1991-NM-MT-9-8-White-1st-App-Deadpool-SIGNED-Nicieza-/221909509253?nav=SEARCH

  7. So few to go... Going back to my initial post. We are closing in on an answer. I'm pretty sure I have a tubby 444 and spaceman 1253 in my dell spinner. If they don't show soon ill have to scan them.
  8. This banter sucks in a copper heating up thread. Just Sayin
  9. Sweet 9.2 Best copy I've ever owned ended up in an 8.5 slab.
  10. Original owner, Dan? GA? Can't wait to see it. 1. Yes 2. Some. Most Excellent...congrats sight unseen
  11. Very nice pick ups So how many issues haven't been shown yet? :-)
  12. Great Stuff I'm in the process of finding beater copies with stamps and cutting them all out. There is a perverse pleasure in it. I'll share when completed....good progress so far.
  13. He may have been trying to apply middle American values of Kansas but I'm pretty sure my neighbor's boy is Dennis up here in Alaska.
  14. I'm training a friend of mine in comic picking as he has a newfound love for collecting and doesn't have the knowledge on condition and valuation. So far I've trained him well as over the last few months hunting Craigslist and garage sales he's found.... Daredevil 1 coverless Turtles 1 2nd print Batman adventures 12 x 2 Strange Tales 178-181 (178 off to CGC) Secret wars 8 x 3 Detective 1st talia issue A small higher grade Bronze Age OO collection Multiple bronze and copper key issues and numerous decent SA books. Treasuries, trades, etc. Probably 1000 comics at about .20c each in his search. So far no ASM 121,122,129, hulk 180-182 or GSX1,94, or WWBK 32 but I'm expecting he will dredge some up with his luck. I wouldn't even be surprised if he finds a SA major key within 6 months....we will see. He did score that DD1 for $1.
  15. Very nice copy and without the roll looks much better. Too bad about the water damage staining but really nice copy structurally.
  16. Congratulations on having a daughter. Oh yeah. Looking forward to what your future AF 15 looks like.
  17. I'm in the market for a 7.0+ too. Just have to decide when to prioritize.
  18. I loved that book as a kid. I found it depressing - I bought CM 32, missed 33, then bought 34 and it was the end of the cosmic era for me - I think the next issue was a reprint and then it CM just dropped off a cliff. True. But I think I may be younger than you as for me it was just a fun read and I remember buying it off the stands. I didn't buy earlier issues until much later.
  19. I loved that book as a kid. Awesome splash page. And the tie in to the graphic novel death of captain marvel was a nice bonus.
  20. There are so many four colors that you rarely see Great stuff
