  1. A cropped photo of a garage sale find. All OO in great shape with weapons etc. 60 figures in all with excellent Vadar case and original stickers.
  2. from Strange Tales #181 would love to have the OA for that last page. Anytime I see Magus ( which isn't often ) I think "DISCO" I think WTF is up with his groin. Did someone nut-shot him with a frying pan? Doh. ::
  3. I picked up an OO bronze collection last month of around 3500 books and low and behold out if the multiple copies. One book of each had the stamps cut out. Some books I never realized had stamps like a handful of giant size issues. I've since schooled myself on what books have stamps. I recall buying ASM 145 just to get Galactus. Ended up being a cool book too.
  4. I never cut any series B But series A was just too tempting :-)
  5. As I find books with stamps cut out, I've been setting them aside. I'm sure I have all of them with stamps as well... I might have to buy some already cut stamps out to go with the ones I cut out as a kid. I finally picked up a stamp book...
  6. Purchase some nice golden age. Paid as planned and easy to deal with.
  7. This reminds me of the cap and mandy which I took to Barrow Alaska...and Nik's Hanna Barbara Cell for his family that boardies signed after he passed :-(
  8. A favorite of mine. Love that jacket
  9. Curious who was the seller? Pretty good raw grading. Nice books Looks better than a 6.0..... Wonder what CGC saw....
  10. I love the Okajjma Pedigree My Uncle was interned in a camp during WWII. I've never spoken about it with him. I'm not sure my two cousins have much either. It messed him up a bit back in the 70's but he's doing great now. He has written a few books but not on the camps. Google him. Bob Kono I didn't realize it but he's posted videos on YouTube I'm going to watch now..... Called life in the camps Wow. Made me cry. He's so poised and clear headed about it all. And for those that know me, no, I'm not Japanese but my Uncle is and my cousin's are 1/2. And wouldn't you know my luck they are both taller than me.
  11. Yesterday I sent an email to Vinnie about it being the Okajima Copy. He added it to the item description. Looks like a beauty! Pretty copy. Maybe a slab correction is in order for the purchaser.
  12. 100% agree. Always loved these issues between 34 and 44. I have em all raw and still won't sell my 34 with all the hype and "crazy" value. It's nice to see such a quality book finally getting a bump. Now I'd be bummed if I didn't already have a copy. The later issues are still bargain fodder. If anyone wants to sell me a nice 9.0+ slab of all the issues, shoot me a PM.
  13. That sig is brutal butt hurt if you asked me, but it does make for fewer true high grade copies for the exclusivity of non signed books. I still love my sigs on the splash non encased and I prefer them to be ones I've gotten personally, or I happen to find flipping through my SA raws. My TTA 27 has a 1970's Stan Lee sig. I'm sure I have a few kirby sig's too, just have to find em and remember to mark the backer boards so I don't forget again.
  14. Bought 7 long boxes and two shorts about a month ago. Same seller calls me and says he found 4 more long boxes a few weeks later. Went and bought them all this Friday. Had three copies of WWBK 32 in 9.2-9.8 condition. 2 copies 9.2/4 1 copy 9.6/9.8 Along with 997 other SA and BA books. All the '74-76 books were OO. 96 High grade giant size issues in all. been a good weekend All in total probably 3500 comics. Many sweet upgrades and duplicates to sell. Sent off a bunch of booka to CGC this last week so we will see what they say in 4-6 months.
  15. I hear that Daredevil might get some serious steam from Netflix....I'm pretty sure he appeared in the bronze age too....
