I am looking for one or two Black Major Joe repros.

I am looking for the Snake Eyes II Animation Color Variant or his Snake Eyes II All Blue Variant.  I don't want the ones with the Cobra sigils.

Oh and you are a bad influence.  I've been selling a lot of my Joes and putting the money toward other things... I wound up picking up the 50th Dusty Blue Fatigues figure, (which I have owned before at some point) and a Pursuit of Cobra Beachhead, (which I also once owned.)

Lol I'm glad i could help you back into Joes  Those are some really cool variants. I feel like I'm coming to the finish line of where i want to be with the vintage line, getting the early to mid 80s mostly. I have a decent amount of moderns but not sure where to put half of them.

I'm glad the 6 inch line is coming around the corner. I'm clearing a spot for them. I pre ordered from big bad toy store. June couldn't come any faster especially since i see other people with them already. I'm curious where they ordered them from?

    @STORMSHADOW_80 smh

I have really been thinning down my Joe collection and even got them in one rubbermaid container that can fit on a shelf.

And then I decided to place an order with Marauder Toys because I felt I needed an IDW comics version of Zarana.

I've been thinking about if ever had to pack my Joes how would I do it. It's the vehicles that are the problem. I've seen some modern Zaranas lately. Pretty awesome fig (thumbsu

  3. Only had to order a few parts but man that Mirage is super fragile. I was trying not to but ended up having to completely disassemble it because the wrong wheel was on the back. But here it is unbroken and complete. :foryou:

Awe Striker is a cool vehicle. I’m just missing the camera that goes on the hood. With the HISS I picked up I swapped parts with the Red Sears HISS. Has anyone seen the stop motion video on you tube Zombie Zombie? Snow Job reminds me of that now.

Breaker is such a natural fit for that bike, looks great!

Thanks! The Ram is a really solid vehicle compared to the Mirage. I finished the Polar Battle Bear yesterday after giving it a whiting treatment for a few hours. I’m happy. I ended up taking off a couple stickers that were peeling and misplaced and it was really noticeable where they were in addition to some yellowing. It came out real nice. This is the Takara version from Japan. I had the missing missiles it needed already. Next I’m working on the Awe Striker.

    Boooooo

All Lego projects and hovercraft put on hold for two reasons.

1 - A friend sent me a picture of a guy who did the hovercraft justice and put everyone else's online to shame.  Everyone else was using the standard lego hovercraft hull.  This guy went all beast mode and built his own using a lot of SNOT (Studs not on top) techniques.   I will link you to his flicker folder here.  You have to see what he does.

2 - FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY - I was notified by the bath remodel company I contracted to redo my bathroom. They said my village hall finally responded.  I was JUST about to have the paperwork completed by village hall when everything shut down. This means that a building inspector will be coming to my house and will need access to the basement for the water lines.  So what does that mean?  Well... most everything has to be concealed or tucked away since officially in my town a basement is for storage unless you have a direct egress from the main area.  Guest bed alcove had to be overturned and I keep my shipping boxes that I use down there also.

I would much rather finally get my bathroom done.  I've been waiting now over a year to get this together due to false starts, a contractor that disappeared, and multiple quotes.

Holy smokes that guys stuff is next level!

That's good news about the bathroom going forward.

  6. Woah you went all in @F For Fake Congrats on the Joes! It's funny you mentioned the DIC series as i just started watching it too. Not quite the same as the first series but fun to see some familiar characters and vehicles. Gridiron is in a lot of episodes. I also saw range viper you got as well. I want to get one to go with my Piranha. I still need depth charges for that thing.

My buddy hooked me up with a Skyhawk the other day. I love it. Very iconic. I also got a few parts in the mail for other vehicles. My Phantom has all the outside pieces now. I just need a couple actuators and wheel covers, along with the Ghost Rider pilot. I'll post some pics once I get the stand in.

Beauties! What is that Bazooka from, is it a custom? I've always loved the Night Landing. Love your tribute to the box art! I finally got the shovel I needed to complete mine a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you! Much appreciated. I figure since I'm taking pics anyways might as well do it in a cool way. Now I find myself wanting to hunt down characters since they were on the box art lol ...Further down the rabbit hole. Congrats on finishing your night landing raft. It's a great piece (thumbsu

Bazooka is from a 50th 3 pack. He came with a Blue Dusty and an awesome modern Firefly

Apparently there are two versions of Snake Eyes in the new Classified line.

I thought the normal, non Hasbro Pulse release would just be the figure without the premium packaging and weapons display. But the normal release has a different paint job and futuristic weapons. I thought the other characters reminded me of those Battle Force 2000 G.I. Joes. But I guess that's what this Classified line really is. And I thought Hasbro put a lot of thought into Snake Eyes for a reason. But I guess they just wanted to make a lot of hype for the first figure with a premium price.

I think the guy from Retroblasting is probably right. It's a shame too. I would really purchase a good majority of line of larger scale vintage Joes that just have more detail on the figures. Or of course a full line of the Resolute Joes. It will always be beyond me why that didn't happen. The female Dial Tone didn't even bother me, even though I thought the original was a cool figure with the back pack but I would get her Resolute figure too.

I guess we'll see how long this Classified line lasts. I don't think it will go beyond those figures in the original artwork display.

I don’t know. I have a lot of faith in the new line coming out. With no other super hero movies coming out. I think Joes have a shot at catching on. I don’t really mind the bit of a twist on the characters. Not really a fan of the futuristic weapons for roadblock or the black snake eyes, but the rest are fine. I’m currently clearing out an area for them. I can’t wait to see the next wave.

    Rattler is a beautiful toy.

That's a LOT of file cards.  I'd love to fall into an FC pile.

Thank you! I’m almost done cleaning it. I treated the Sharc to make it whiter. Worked right away with one treatment. (thumbsu

Also picked up some more Joes from another local dealer that lives close by. We did a partial trade in with extra parts I have. The firebat without the stickers is the original and is super clean. The other is the 25th. Lots of Joes to work on   #blessed

That looks like a whole lot of FUN!! ^^

PS the wolf is a nice touch!

PSS, hope that meeting happens and everyone stays safe :whee:

Thank you sir! I’m glad I set him free.

PS Thanks. I appreciate it. It was a little challenging finding a wolf that fit right for Snake Eyes 6”.

PSS I’m stoked. I ended up going with Plan B. My buddy and I went out of town (Best LA traffic ever) and we split a lot of Joes. Here is my share.

  11. Over two years I finally opened up my SDCC prototype ronin Boba Fett. He goes nice with the stands I did. Figure looks great. Articulation could be better. Scale is a bit imposing next to Snake Eyes. They should have made a longer sword for him.

...PS I need a V1.5 Scarlett torso. Mine cracked and back shoulder broke off from moving her arm last time I had her out :frown:

PSS My appointment for Joes is canceled for a bit due to Covid (shrug)
