I'm not sure how people are receiving economy books so fast. I have a modern magazine sub rec'd on 3/10 still at verified.

Correct. It just says "at CCS" until it's done and then rec'd at CGC. Sometimes before it goes to CCS it will "CCS required". I've only had a couple invoice at CCS in the old system when the new one came about. Once it was received at CGC it just went into the system as the others. The old CCS invoice numbers didn't update until later though.

When you log into your CGC account it will show the submission as being at CCS

I haven't seen this thread in a while. I wrote Ditko a letter the other month. Both of my grandparents are from his small hometown in Johnstown, PA. My grandfather even went to highschool with him. They were only about two years apart. My grandmother doesn't remember him and unfortunately my grandfather passed away when I was young. So I finally decided to ask Mr. Ditko if he happened to remember my grandfather. OF course I thanked him for Spider-Man as well. Here is his response ....

My last sub I got a couple weeks ago was on par to what I thought it would be in regards to the 9.8s received. I have a pre screen in currently that should give me a better idea soon

I like how he presses his finger right on the spine when applying the sticker and removing the transfer tape. Would have been better take the book out before applying pressure

8.5 as well. Can the overhang be flattened? I ask this because I have another book with the same problem. Went to one presser and they didn't get it out.

It's been about a year since I last did a precreen, so hopefully the software didn't change too much. Once it hits graded the category will change for the ones that passed vs the ones that didn't pass. Quality control is the final step though in case there are any issues.

Awesome first post and cool story for NM98. I agree 100% about X23. With a much lower print run it has a lot of potential. I just regret selling my extra 9.6, but that was before the movie news broke.

Usually once the books hit "Graded" you'll see which ones passed and which ones didn't.
