    doh!

Misread that. But I get the point about comedy for the sake of inserting jokes.

Im lookin at you Toby McGuire Emo spider-man!!!!

But also Suicide squad could have been better if they hadn't had crappy jokes.

Kind of works in Avengers because of how the team meshes, but also because it's a lighter tone.

Love Venom love Venom love Venom...

Please make this good please make this as good as Logan please...

...Regardless, not minding the price bumps at all  :applause:

Better than Logan. It was a good movie, but Venom needs dark action. No stupid comedy bits.

  4. Lady Death collection on Ebay

I've listed 6 Lady death books on ebay as a BIN obo. I've listed the BIN at $1000 because i figure if someone on ebay wants to pay me that much for it then fantastic!

However, Board members feel free to make reasonable offers here on the boards. Keep in mind most if not all of these books are extremely difficult to find, and LD books usually disappear into personal collections forever. In addition to that, all of these books (aside from the CGC SS books) are unsigned which are harder to find since most books are purchased signed from Coffin Comics.

    Books are as follows;

    Lady death;
Pin-ups (Naughty) shimmer edition CGC 9.8 Signed by Brian Pulido Ltd. 69
Dragon Wars #1 (Naughty) Violet edition CGC 9.6 Signed Sabine Rich by Ltd. 69
Echoes #1 Cyber Stealth holofoil edition Ltd. 50
Echoes #1 Cyber Stealth Jeweled edition Ltd. 99
Icnos #1 Kickstarter exclusive METAL JEWELED edition Ltd. 99
    Judgement War #1 Ltd. 99

As a bonus I am including La Muerta: Descent #1 Premium Foil cover. This is not included in the calculated total of this listing.

All raw books are NM or better, CGC books are as graded by CGC.

    PICS IN LISTING,

    THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!

Whoever decides to start breaking up the 3 pack to get the virgin, and selling individually instead, is going to gain major points among the community. $75+ per sale is just not going to sustain itself.

These don't hold value. Not original release value anyway. I just got JL vs. SS #1, Artgerm virgin variant. When it was released in the set of 3, the virgin was going for $60+. I picked up a 9.8 (raw) for $23 shipped. I'm all about the virgins (lol!). I buy for the art, so anything obstructing it is an eye sore imho.

My current list is (All virgin covers)

    PP Spec Spider-Man #1 Artgerm

    GoTG #1 Natalie Sanders

Venom #6 Mattina Full or partial mask variant

    All-New Wolverine #19 Artgerm

Captain America #600 DF Ross variant

I'm on the fence about the Iron Fist #1 Dell'Otto cover...

Iirc, retailers needed to order Secret Empire at 175% the qty of CW II #8 in order to qualify for the launch party promo items. Stores that qualified got 2 free bundles of the lenticular board. If they want more, they need to pay $12 per bundle of either 10 or 12. Given the profit margins on comics, pretty expensive for a free giveaway.

i found a store in Guelph selling them for $1 each. I got 1 more for me and one for my brother in-law. so i've got 2 to put into my comic room!

I'm reading it, and cringing every time I hand over my money, knowing that Alonso & Spencer are getting paid for this.

I don't forsee an outcome that they can write that will not be a result of lazy writing (Example:  Kobik will just revert everything like this never happened, or he was a Life Model Decoy, Clone whatever).   So jokes on us, I guess.

If they truly want to change his history of the last 75 years, and say he really was an undercover Hydra Agent, he was just faking it, Marvel will officially see the last of my dollars.

they'll see the last of their business...

  8. Heroes on Dundas. I found more in Guelph, but that's it. Lady in Guelph said retailers had to order it separately and most didn't because of how secret empire was already getting bad press. They're holding one for me, picking it up tomorrow after work. May be a hard to find collectable but if not it's still really neat!

Well I first saw the item at Chicago and they displayed the item which is a really cool item. I have 50 of them but if I'm right stores had to opt into the launch party and it provided 2 copies of the Brooks Premium Variant, 1 copy of the Nauch Sketch Variant, Secret Empire pins, posters, and these lenticular mini posters.

As for the number of retailers that opt'd in I have no idea on how to find that out. Hope that helps!

Ya that makes sense! You've got 50? Do you have a store?

  9. Secret Empire Lenticular Promo

So, I got this neat lenticular promo from a shop in london (ontario) and i did end up buying a copy of secret empire just so i could get this. I figured all stores got them, but i called around and 5 other shops had no idea what i was talking about. any idea how this was distributed? I already have 1, but I've been debating getting another just so I could use them to make a nice wall display. However, I don;t even know how many were printed, and how rare these are. Any ideas?

I understand that, but there is no way they could know that so you have to draw the line somewhere. From a person who has stood in line for one signature for this and the guy next to me has 10 books.(And has piles of others in a box.) he wants signed I can understand their reasoning. Its hard to single one out instead they have to do a blanket policy.

Ok, I agree with this too. Except, start small.. limit ppl to 1 or 2 books per person. ya, they can send other ppl in, but at least you will get through faster.

I'm not a sig series fan either but that doesn't mean that someone who collects sig series isn't a real fan.

I agree. This to me is Marvel shooting themselves in the OTHER foot. Why I want a book signed a specific way has nothing to do with whether i'm a "real" fan or not. I am not a huge fan of sigs, but i like to think that the option is there if I do want one. Grading is very mainstream. look at CGC and other grading companies trying to keep up with TATs. Obviously the market is large enough. So whether or not your book is windowed for grading or not shouldn't play any role in how much of a fan you are. that undermines the whole idea of collecting for a LOT of people. Sports, stamps, coins, etc. I'm excited to see how Marvel alienates their shrinking fanbase next week.

Guessing a mix of Donny Cates being red hot, EoE going for a nice amount (with god country rising) so many speculating, and a great story plus the cover art rocks!  I have three of the 4 covers... the foils gold and silver variants and the c2e2 sketch... now need to buy the original.

I've got 3 original covers NM+. $100,000 and they can be all yours. plus $8 shipping.
