  1. All 15 of my X-Force 1 have negative Captain and I came away with 4 Deadpool cards
  2. Received ... 12/22/20 21 MODERN Scheduled for Grading ... 02/15/21
  3. Is now the time to sell these Marvel trading cards? Knowing my history with selling too soon I'm a bit hesitant. Any fortune tellers among us?
  4. I picked up a couple sets of loose X-Force promo cards from a "baseball card" shop in the 80's. Unfortunately I sold them a couple years ago, along with a 1991 Impel Marvel complete set, loose and sealed packs. Timing is everything and mine is way off at times... but who would have thought? Still have a small stack which includes covers of Hulk 181, ASM129 and Wolverine Limited 1. Now time to check all the polybagged X-Force 1's
  5. On G0Collect it's trending + 829.2% for a 9.8 ... gotta be the bunny ears.
  6. Thanks... I've noticed that drop off for quite a number of 80's books.
  7. Just checked my lists and have Ronin 1-6... all NM and bought fresh off the rack. Now to pull them and see just how minty they are.
  8. Did you click on both Grading and Pressing boxes under services on first page?
  9. How does shill bidding work on an auction where the shiller is not the seller?.... what am I missing?

  11. If you use shipping through ebay , 1st class shipping is up to one pound
  12. Plus, when you pay for a membership you get a credit for that amount and a discount off the rates.
  13. cbennett71 Messaged about combined shipping. If he had bothered to read my listings.... but never mind. Wanted to buy multiple books and I told him that five or more books would bump rate to Priority. Bids on five $3.00 books, gets adjusted invoice, then tells me that my shipping is too high and that $7.50 should be more than enough. Explained that Priority, across the country, is actually $13.65 and that ebay will be taking 13% of that. Messages back with no doubt that I'm talking straight but please cancel order.
  14. Just received from CGC my magazine size Warrior #1, which was lost in their vaults for a month... but that's another story. The slabbing looked pretty good until I found that the side weld didn't actually weld the two pieces together so the side can be lifted, just like the non-welded opposite side. Not happy that I now have to return it to CGC for a fix. Is this a common mishap? Just had an email conversation with customer service and they said this is normal, that the Magazine casings are mostly sealed at the corners. Just checked my other magazine casings and two out of three are sealed tight on the right.
  15. Thanks for all the opinions that I think are right on the mark. I find it tough to figure out grades when there is one good size defect of an otherwise pretty book.
  16. My grading question has mostly to do with the chunk missing from top center of cover. Bought from a shop in the 1980's and somehow missed this defect. As can be seen from the last pic, at one point there was tape holding the "scab" in place. Looks like the scab came off with the bandage... again, happened pre-purchase. I put a sheet of paper behind cover to better show the missing piece. Rest of book, sadly, is pretty nice. Few scratches near tear. Thanks.
  17. What if... I didn't sell some of my What ifs... when they were just what ifs?
  18. I can see the spine stress lines on the mailer so imagine what that does to the spine of the book. I recently had a book mailed that way and spine got totally messed up. Complained to seller, who is so proud and ignorant of his shipping method that his auction has a picture of said method.
