  1. Seeing how pieces are missing from the interior, maybe this particular comic book doesn't have Wolverine's first appearance.
  2. Since they don't offer gift memberships best advice would be to call CGC directly. They may be able to work something out for you.
  3. CGC Tier/Value is set to cover the insurance of the book(s) when they are in their possession. You can enter any amount that you feel is adequate. If CGC feels that your entered value is too low they may bump your book to a different tier and charge accordingly....
  4. Scammer as a buyer or seller or both?
  5. I prefer letting the artist decide where to sign... Although in my experience from his CGC signing, Frank Miller would be an exception since he only used a black marker and didn't seem to give a hoot if he signed in a dark area.
  6. If he's only a buyer of course he'll have a spotless record.... eBay wouldn't have it any other way. Sounds like a bit of a privileged jerk.
  7. I just wonder if the seller lives in that creepy basement and if (other) crimes have been dreamed up or committed down there.
  8. Before CGC screwed up the top corner the only issue was the lower right corner having a tiny bump with slight color break. Possibly a generous 9.6 but that's what the label reads. Planning on selling this one and keeping my 9.8 (no sig.) for now. I'll see what CGC wants to do about the non-fixed fix. Expecting a 9.2 to present "absolutely perfect" I think is asking a lot although I must admit some of my 9.2 and 9.4 present just as well or better than this book with the lower corner bump.
  9. If it's no longer a 9.6 then the obvious answer would be no, especially if a grade drop means "hundreds of dollars". As mentioned above, without knowing the book, advice is limited. The damaged shown has the potential of being fixed. Any damage to the front cover?
  10. I don't know if it was regraded, just "fixed" and bent again when encapsulated. Just hope this bend hasn't broken color. Would anyone accept this as a 9.6?
  11. Finally got my book back and I was hoping for the best, but...
  12. Another example of why I don't sell my good stuff on ePrey....
  13. I guessed that it was Marvel.... something. That's as far as my old brain would let me go.
  14. Case in point.... just look at some of the books shown on CGC facebook pages that are being slabbed, like US 1.
  15. You can ship (or drop off) any way you choose. Just pack it securely with books in order as listed on your submit form. Maybe you're confusing shipping to CGC with return shipping which is either UPS ($50 max insurance) or USPS. (Fedex temporarily not available) Check out the tutorial at the top of this forum for packing info... Good luck with your submissions
