I only saw 1 8.0 copy of Tec 27 sell in 40 years and there are few high grade Action 1s as of last 10 years. I told Mitch if a 9.0 w page Tec 27 was to hit the market it would break all records. you made me bust out my Overstreet guide didn't you (sigh), I'm looking at it right now, the 25th edition of OS guide, mine has the Yellow Kid and X-men on the cover, it says in the "Top Golden Age books" section, Tec27 was #1 in 1994 and Action 1 was #2. then the very next year 1995 Action 1 regained the #1 spot, so how is that not in the 90's? my point is that while Batman had several movies in the 90s, Superman had none, so what exactly was it that made Action #1 take back the #1 spot that year? anywho, I know you have a Tec 27, so off course you want to see that book do well, which it will of course, I have niether book, I think we get a little movie crazy at times, BTW, a Tec 31 was listed at $16k in NM in 1995 OS. With Batman looking like to be the leader of the Justice League his popularity will continue to grow. I don't know what they can do to make Superman cool with modern audiences? He has had three chances this last decade. Superman Returns Man of Steel Batman vs. Superman I like Superman,but unfortunately the modern movie going audiences don't share my enthusiasm. For one thing the whole Lois Lane is in trouble and superman to the rescue theme is beyond redundant. Another issue is superman is too powerful. I think he would be more interesting if there was more than one way to beat him in a fight. They need to take away some of his powers and just have some movies where Lois doesn't factor in to the hero aspect of the plot for starters. Then they should change his uniform and have him say "shazam" everytime he wants to transform into his super self -Problem fixed WT Lets have a drink and talk abought this

True to that. I think Batman has the show as of late. I like that Batman was of old 1930s Bat in the movie. Batman has always been better that Sup but the 1St book that started it has a lot of pull.

Like i said Mitch if a 9.0 w page was for sale of Tec 27 it would blow the Action 1 sale away. There are no high grade Tec 27 out there for sale but Batman is better by a long shot.

I trust Gator on comics and he's savvier on sports than most of us. He's also a kewl dude who's fun to shoot hoops with. Movies are much more of a personal taste thing, and Gator's taste buds may have been compromised by all the Coke Zero he's consumed over the years. To bring things up to date, I loathed Zack Snyder's MoS (my review was scathing) so I already have a benchmark for bad. This time around I decided not to contribute money and have the disappointment rubbed-in. 30% fresh is not a good Tomato-meter consensus. MMM (excelsior!) ...lets see if any savvy SA fans dig up the origins of that reference. Not to give too much away, but the problem with the critics seems to be Superman. Batman and Wonder Wonder Woman were natural in the movie. Superman and his mythos seemed to have caused the critics the problem. I don`t think we will see a solo Superman movie for quite sometime,while they are already talking about a Batman Ben Affleck solo movie. Detective #27 looks to become the bigger key over Action #1 this next decade.

Thats cause nobody can find a scarce high grade Tec 27 yet. I sad if there was a 9.0 with w pages it would blow away that Action 1 sale.
