I have had 6 or 7 in my 35 years. 10 years ago you could go to California cons and thees book were on the walls all weekend. In 1998 Bob BeerB had a Mod cgc 8.0 for 8 grand he could not give away. I was going to ask him if he would take 5 for the book but it was no big deal back than. The books went way off these last few years.

No. What i was trying to say is i dont plan on selling the 27 anytime soon, By the time i am ready to sell the 27 i will have a 29 and 33. I want 28 more than 29 had 2 copys of 29 and 6 or 7 copys of 31 and few 33s. The books were all easy to get 10 years ago and all under 8k. The last 3 years these books went nuts in price.

My thought was when i am ready to sell the 27 i will have a 29 and 33 to sell also.

Ebay last year had a mm # in the 40s for i think 10 k and it sold in under 5 min ? I thought i could get a copy under # 10 half that price why did it go for so much that did make me think. If you do still have a copy of 7 pm me Thanks.

? 20-30 years ago no serious DC collector even wanted All star unless it was 1-3-8 and then they were nothing big next to Superman Batman in my world here in California/New york collecters i new felt the same. I could never understand is early 80s on up Aing man 5 and blackhawk 9 were hot. Movies being one of them. But ww is part of the dc big 3. Been undervalued and under appreciated for a long time Ya thats the way i saw All Star back then,When you could not get a good deal and you had a table and NO money came you could always buy All stars cheap. 73 was never high on my want list, and it is non-existent now that it has gotten so expensive. Thats cool. I like you Richard But ( I like your books more. ) Sometime we will have to get together you do have Great books and your not as bad as the board says I think your Marvel collection is as good as my Action 1 to 20 when i find the other 17 O forgot that i have 2 more under 20 so when i get the other 15

I like 54 as well, and it is rightly listed as a classic, but as More Fun covers go I prefer 56 over 54. It would be interesting to rank them top down. Mine list would go something like 65, 56, 54, then 61,69 and 71 which are kind of interchangeable to me, then it gets tough. I do know that 62 would be near the bottom of my list.
