? 20-30 years ago no serious DC collector even wanted All star unless it was 1-3-8 and then they were nothing big next to Superman Batman in my world here in California/New york collecters i new felt the same. I could never understand is early 80s on up Aing man 5 and blackhawk 9 were hot. 73 was never high on my want list, and it is non-existent now that it has gotten so expensive. Thats cool. I like you Richard But ( I like your books more. ) Sometime we will have to get together you do have Great books and your not as bad as the board says I think your Marvel collection is as good as my Action 1 to 20 when i find the other 17 O forgot that i have 2 more under 20 so when i get the other 15

I like 54 as well, and it is rightly listed as a classic, but as More Fun covers go I prefer 56 over 54. It would be interesting to rank them top down. Mine list would go something like 65, 56, 54, then 61,69 and 71 which are kind of interchangeable to me, then it gets tough. I do know that 62 would be near the bottom of my list. I saw the stain after i posted. I think you can have it dry cleaned off and no threat of purple. I know some think it should be resto but the stain could make book age faster if not removed. I would not do it cause its a pain to send in and repay. I have the D copy of Sup 2 6.0 blue was told the yellow would dry clean good but i like it better at home and will make a good selling point when ever that is.

Richard see what you did. I forgot Marvel 1-2-3-9- torch 1 and NOW i forgot i want a CAP 1 and 3. I am a DC collector but have few that tell me Cap 1 is worth more than Marvel 1 grade for grade is this true now?.

Richard that is the best Timely collection i have ever seen........................................ I have seen a lot of collections in my 38 years of collecting. I would go as far as to say that Marvel collection is as nice as RHG Detective collectio. I am a DC collector. Marvel 1 2 3 9 Torch 1 are the only books i would keep since funds only go so far.Thank you and yes i still want the other #1 you have but lost little interest after 6.0 blue 1.
