  1. Seeing Momoa do an over the top character in Fast X, I think he could pull off the main man. He's at least got the eyebrow dexterity already to pull off a good Lobo sh-iteat-ing grin
  2. I've watched it again a little while ago, and came away with a much better opinion of the movie. It was a really good Ant-man movie. Was it what I was expecting the first time, no not at all. But once all of my expectations, and anticipation around this being an MCU event movie had evaporated, I actually enjoyed for what it was, and the characters, and design features throughout. My advice to the nay sayers. Let go, and enjoy the ride.
  3. I had that sensation, when they were interrogating Brad Wolf, what was their motivation for all of this running around?? Things had definitely got muddled. Not a good sign.
  4. It's interesting, the two biggest trends that I've seen over the last few years in tv/movies. The talent, or main actor is now listed as an Executive Producer. Acknowledging that the show, or movie isn't really a valid enterprise unless the main talent is onboard. It's like having a restaurant with the chef as business partner. They've fully vested in the success of the project, and walking out on the venture, they're walking out on themselves. The second trend is across tv/movies/music, where writing/producing has become about a team of people, instead of individuals, or partner writers. The latter is still around, but the rise of the teams has been pronounced. Individual talent as writer/creater's seems to have waned. And that waning influence as a writer, has translated in devaluation in the Hollywood machinery. As for the future, and this immediate shedding of writers, it seems counter-intuitive to the studio's content model's they're currently running with. The platforms are battling it out to produce more and more content. Reducing writer numbers seems antithetical towards this goal.
  5. Still kinda hot, although in that grade, maybe not so much. The grading looks a smidge tough..
  6. Tha was a big issue with the video. We all know of books that continuing in their upward price trajectory from 2021, and 2022. There are plenty of books that have cooled off doe certain, the his graphs are only a limited piece of the overall story out there right now.
  7. That is concerning. The end credits for the typical MCU movie is literally 15minutes longer, as they plough through the long list of VFX studio's responsible for the pixelated minestrone soup we just watched.
  8. The colour saturation on that cover more than makes up for it It's a stunning copy.
  9. I think you're right. And agreed, nothing wrong with getting some feed back. His book he can do anything he likes with it. If you want a sale in a quiet market, the best route would be to enter it a Ccmiclink auction. The fee's are way less than ebay, thats for sure.
  10. The best realistic result.. I would say <40% of the current asking price. Make it an even $800. And that would be a fantastic outcome. The guy has gone on a fishing trip.
  11. I'm surprised by those results across the board. That book is on the up, they look like very tame results compared to a year ago, and it's still a key.
  12. The 5th appearance of Doctor Strange, and a classic Thing cover rivalling FF #51
  13. There's no way of distinguishing Canadian newsstands over US newsstand copies as far as we know of.
  14. The grading on these books is some of the toughest I've seen from CGC.
  15. I bought a regular edition #1 9.9 for $1,500 in 2012, At the time I regretted buying it, thinking I had over paid, and they were going nowhere. The regular CPV's are flat. 9.9's are in a separate category. 9.9's have only really taken off in the last 4 years or so.
