  1. I hope he doesn't become the next Skottie Young, variants for everything The guy has 1-2 covers every four to six weeks, not even close to being "over exposed". But he's got to make a living too. Can't blame Bulletproof for milking the golden geese either. That said, I would like to see him go back to the 1:50 and up ratio non-store exclusive variants eventually. -J.
  2. Looks even better in hand doesn't it ! -J.
  3. That's nice thanks for the heads up on this ! Is it another Bulletproof exclusive ? -J. Yep, for sale along with the B&W version now. I really like this cover too, but at a certain point I am starting to get tired of the expense of every book being ~$20 plus slabbing. Personally I would like to see some Dell'Otto artbooks collecting these covers. After that Flash Comics #1 sale I'm sure you can afford it. -J.
  4. Most of these estimates are pretty good. GPA scrubbed the low 2.0 sale from a week a go so I would put a 2.0 at closer to $10.5k now. I would put a 5.0 at a solid $25k. A 6.0 $35k-$38k. A 6.5 is probably more in the $45k-$50k range. A 7.0 about $55k-$60k. A 7.5 will likely be $67k-$75k now. An 8.0 would probably be more like $90k-$95k. -J.
  5. I would also love to see someone fill this in. And if you could add the current value of a .5 copy that would be great This should make your day... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Fantasy-15-CGC-5-Origin-and-1st-App-of-Spider-Man-Aunt-May-Uncle-Ben-/272268159468?hash=item3f647269ec:g:7bcAAOSwZSFXJOUV -J.

  7. Do tell where one might find an "incredible number" of AF 15's, 7.0-7.5 for $44k..... -J. PS: ...that was a 6.0 for $44k on the boards....
  8. Still very hot and still also quietly picking up serious steam: http://item.ebay.co.uk/222157369884?item_hash4=846a8643&LH_Complete=1&LH_BIN=1&LH_BO=1&_ipg=200&_pgn=1&rc=nt&rmvSB=true -J.
  9. You buy any? And those ten to the 30 something current auctions and you've got a nice deep puddle forming. Are you combining the Retail with the Direct Sales auctions ? If so, why? They are 2 different books. As i type this there are 41 current auctions listed for Justice League 51 error with a total of 3 Direct Sales copies available. I stopped counting half way down the list at over 100 + available copies of retail Error/Misprints This guy alone sold a lot of the not-"rare"-either" "direct sales" upc version that had 25 copies. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Justice-League-New-52-Issue-51-Recalled-Edition-Lot-of-25-Copies-/152138527569?hash=item236c29b351%3Ag%3AnQAAAOSwGIRXaVAV&nma=true&si=xbID1M6Roi55pQZ3XgzvrSjCRBk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 They aren't "rare" either. -J.
  10. I've been told who all of these people are supposed to be portraying for nearly a year, and looking at this , I'm still not sure who they all are. -J. Top, L. to R.: Robocop, Fresh Prince, Kicking Wing from Joe Dirt (he likes snakes and sparklers!) Middle, L. to R.: Some hired Help (she should have won the Oscar for that...), She is nude in Wolf of Wall Street, my dream fetish!!!, 30 Seconds to Joker Bottom, L. to R.: My Ex, Killer Crocs Shoes, Another Role Jai Courtney is going to suck in...he's throwing boomerangs for Christ's sake!!! You can't be serious! Hope the helps! -J.
  11. What, are you implying that 50+ available copies at any given time on eBay alone doesn't constitute a "flood"? -J.

  13. That's sweet, feel free to PM me your asking price. -J.
  14. Anyone who can pay their bills by selling comics gets one of these from me : (that including Larry ) -J.
  15. I only asked for something similar to JLA #51/2 error.... Not being confrontational, but your twenty eight year old example of an obscure title does little except bolster the appeal of the more mainstream JLA #51 , IMHO. Anyway... The market will decide if it's a dollar or $250 From the looks of things the market is already deciding "hell no". -J.
  16. Second 9.6 in the last two and a half months (the other was a boardie copy), but the only copy available for sale anywhere since that last 9.6. Plus, with only 6 other 9.6's in existence , prices steadily going up, and no 9.8's seen on eBay in years, someone obviously decided it was now or never. -J.
  17. Speaking of the ASM 667 Dell'otto, looks like a deal was struck at a new high for the 9.6 copy that was up on ebay: http://item.ebay.co.uk/301961232137?item_hash4=b3fba0a1&LH_Complete=1&LH_BIN=1&LH_BO=1&_ipg=200&_pgn=1&rc=nt&rmvSB=true @Thatcomicbookguy- I would still like to grab a copy of the print of it if you know of where I can find one. Thanks in advance. -J.
  18. No, because newsstand copies typically have different cover prices than direct copies anyway. The "error" about this book is the cover, not the UPC box or the price. Once it became obvious that the book isn't rare at all, people have gone to new lengths try to keep the book pumped at least through the weekend. -J.
  19. Well, you forgot Murphy's law . . . I've sold all of my copies, so it's bound to go up! I was wondering why you were being so quiet.... -J.
  20. The typical minimum orders for most store exclusives is 500. So at least 500 for each version. I would imagine the same applies to convention exclusives. -J. I think you are missing a 0 for Marvel books. I seem to recall Larryscomics saying that the "minimum" is 500 when he does his. That would be consistent with when Marvel did their ASM 666 store exclusive event as well. -J.

  22. This just proves my point- especially if what you said about Wizard is true- that Wolverine 80 is just a sad attempt at a ret-con by people who want to speculate on the book. Unfortunately , people who actually READ comics will know better. And the people who get all their comics knowledge from a movie won't care. Hence why the book is a fail. -J.
  23. +1 Or we might get Jessica Drew or Scarlet Spider. Definitely are going to get Venom and Carnage first. Just so many other Spider-characters, even if Miles Morales was on the table he would be at the bottom of the list IMO. -J.
