  1. Who cares what GPA says/thinks. I am talking about what is or isnt true. Not what someone thinks. I think we are talking about what you think. Anyway, have a nice day -J.
  2. My point wasnt about GPA or if they keep the entry. My point was, if the seller is lying on ebay, he is going to lie to GPA as well. Also, relisting a book after its sold is evidence of shilling Not necessarily, according to GPA. If that were the case, where would BA 12 be? -J.
  3. If there is no direct evidence of shilling (which there isn't here) and the seller verifies the transaction, GPA leaves the sale result. -J.
  4. Before or after the Netflix price bump? Either way, well done. -J.
  5. Looks like this book is being shilled. Seller relisted this copy 2 days after the auction end then ended that auction early as "there was an error with the listing". I have spoken to GPA about this as I have seen it done repeatedly on common books like BA 12. Evidently sellers sometimes inadvertently re-list books, or do have multiple copies of the same book and re-use the same listing (though that is not likely the case here). When they see this they contact the seller directly to verify the sale, one way or the other. -J.
  6. ....and as if to remind us that she's still there, an 8.5 sells for $1,049: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-678-MJ-Venom-Variant-CGC-8-5-Looks-nicer-than-grade-/272032310722?hash=item3f5663a5c2:g:qk4AAOSwAYtWLxYz -J.
  7. Just think, we could have ended up with some corny interpretation like that for the new DCEU movies! That's a little TOO close to the source material and a bit TOO cartoony for anything but Halloween. I don't know. Maybe tone down the teeth a little bit and the odd pose and I would be okay with this (presuming of course it was all adapted to a male actor). -J.
  8. Thanks for the info. That's a great looking book, congrats. That 0.5 copy is great for the grade as well. -J.
  9. I also have a 6.5, what was the buy it now on that out of curiosity ? -J.
  10. About a half hour left and we will know Move along, move along, no one missed anything... $1757 Sanity prevailed. Still a lot with 7 pages missing. Hell yes that's a lot for that. -J.
  11. That's the one I was referring to. Why did the bidders go over PGX to CGC? Maybe they prefer PGX? Looks like someone subsequently pulled the trigger on the CGC copy after all.... $2919. -J.
  12. I'm just glad this character is on this show and that they're saving the actually cool characters that people want to see for Daredevil. -J.
  13. The bidding looks legit. They might as well have just bought this though : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wolverine-1-Campbell-VARIANT-COVER-CGC-9-8-MT-Signed-By-Campbell-White-Pages-/161855118671?hash=item25af511d4f:g:5SQAAOSwiLdV8yW4 -J.
  14. Bought an uncanny avengers #1, JSC variant from Joe and it was well packed and shipped right away at a great price. Highly recommended! -Jay
  15. +1 The killer clown motif that makes the Joker initially frightening to many people is completely absent, as is the harlequin motif from "Harley Quinn". Meanwhile Will Smith just looks like Will Smith, and who cares about any of the other completely interchangeable characters that were used in this movie. I'll be skipping it. -J.
  16. I don't understand why you are saying this. Greater than 50% of the nearly 500 copies on the census so far are 9.8. It is most certainly not a "tough" book in a 9.8, or otherwise. -J.
  17. You didn't submit them for on site grading? Just dropped them off at the booth under their regular tier timeline? -J.
  18. This book already has a thread. Post your book here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6070892&fpart=1 -J.
  19. Going to have to steer clear of this auction. The seller's opening bid was ambitious to say the least given the last sale from a couple months ago, and the subsequent bidding activity is extremely sketchy. It's a shame because the book certainly would have yielded a solid result anyway in a straight up auction given these only come up for sale once every couple months or so and the JSC fan base. -J.
