  1. Yes, it depends how their corporate agreement was setup. It's not uncommon for family members to be bought out of their shares upon a triggering event such as death or disability.
  2. Peter Steigerwald – Co-Owner Frank Mastromauro – Co-Owner, President The family probably has some type of profit agreement. At least I would hope so.
  3. They aren't necessarily unfinished. I believe the Harley was a commissioned sketch that belonged to someone. Marvel did the same thing with the Hughes Spider-Gwen #1 1:100.
  4. Maybe it's just me but I fail to see why. It's a $1 starting bid so it's not like the seller set the price. Someone intentionally leaked the bad issues and they were marketed as a collectible, more or less. The comic is not out yet, so it's not like someone found them on the shelves. Still not seeing it... Aren't ratio variants, convention and retailer exclusives pretty much marketed as collectibles, too? Those are intentional and known. These are unintentional and are typically discarded. What's to stop publishers from intentionally making "errors"? Then maybe reserve the pitchforks for when it happens again. Uh, it just did. That's the whole point.

  9. Is that where she keeps her chewing tobacco?
  10. Now that it seems they are on track with releasing more issues....
  11. I think so. I know it's all relative to opinion, but I think the cover looks great personally. From a value/collectible perspective I think it's a good buy also. I tried tracking one down before it hit the 'bay with the markups to no avail. Venom #3 1:100 J Scott Campbell SIGNED WITH COA LIMITED Variant pre sale I so hope this person doesn't get one.
  12. I think it's possible. Not sure that does anything for the value of comics at that point.
  13. That one's doing just fine. The Vader Down should not be used as an industry gauge. The cover is absolutely horrible.
  14. Quite honestly, the variant covers for Batman kinda suck. The "Night of the Monster Men" covers were particularly bad (both regular and variant). They are paying two artists with the same price they were paying one before, is my guess. The cover of Flash Rebirth 1B is horrible. Interestingly, it doesn't seem to have bumped sales. DC has two covers for each issue. Batman is really only doing the same numbers it was during New 52 +/- 10,000. It is hard to say what impact it has had on sales. Batman written by Mikel Janin and/or Tom King (who are they?) is selling as well as Batman written by Scott Snyder. Pretty impressive when you consider how popular Snyder's run was. Do two covers for regular price help? It is hard to say, but it definitely isn't hurting. Scott Snyder had a great run on Batman, one of the best. He has some great comics under his belt, but I think that series propelled him. Tom King is somewhat well known. Yes, he was not as well known in comic circles.
  15. Being that it's Rated R, it could easily end up lower than the others.

  17. I doubt he'd go for it, simply because its so much easier for him to simply sign a bunch of books he has lying around; versus setting things up with a facilitator. Not sure he'd be able to make enough more money if he's weighing it against his time. Good point, no incentive for him to do this. JTC does it. I'm sure it's not out of the kindness of his heart.
