So ridiculous. This will be a 5 dollar book in a month.
Or less.
I'll take that bet.

Could this one possibly have any staying power? It's an extremely low run for a Harley appearance
It's the flavor of the week. Latest since Gwenpool. It will cool down to around $12-15.

Sons of Anarchy #25 1:50 Photo Variant is doing surprisingly well right now
Where are these doing well?
Huh
1 sold and 1 listed
It's funny when people post things to pump a book they are trying to sell.
Isn't what these threads are for?
Depends who the poster is....

I believe he believes this is you.
And they already dropped the price by 1/3. When I looked it was at $750.
My strategy is to hold onto the 2 until they're no longer relevant.Right, you should make a thread "should I sell or hold...." Those always go over real well.

Dollar bin finds, not sure to sell raw or slab n sell. Should get 8.0 or better after a press
Be interesting to see if you get close to that asking price.

September (so far) has been -poor for overall sales . . . thoughts anyone?
-
Hmmm... it has the same name as the original and is more limited than the original.
We've seen that before...
Spawn #1 vs. Spawn #1 Black & White (five years later)
ASM #300 vs. ASM #300 Chromium (eleven years later)
Since a lot of collectors don't ever do any homework, there's a good chance this "new" Batman Adventures #12 variant could be a cash cow... forever.
The huge difference between this and your examples is that both Spawn #1 and ASM #300 had ginormous print runs which certainly wasn't the case for BA #12. It's not really a legit comparison ...
So..it should be even more in demand than those.

Wouldn't it be awesome if she was the dead Gwen Stacy from the 616 revived with Deapool's healing factor, and she only wears the mask because she it too HOT to look at?
I picked up 4 9.8 candidate copies of Gwenpool because you could just smell it.......something about that mix over all the other Gwen Mashup covers.
Except the artwork is bad.

interesting, seems that all the cheap copies have been scooped up. some are also saying it is first x-force.
there's a pinup with shatterstar in the book, the pinup is a team that looks A LOT like the new x force. Think of it like the Wolverine ad in DD 115.
Nah, this comparison doesn't work! The DD book shows the cover to 181. NM Annual 6 is more like a prototype. Think of Foom 2
I had to look up why that book was selling so well. I mean out of nowhere it takes off. When I saw it was Shatterstar I just rolled my eyes. 1st X-force what a stretch.
I understand that X-Force is going to be a film but NM 100 had a massive print run. Even though it's the first X-Force I would think the amount of copies out there would destroy the chance of it ever selling well. Maybe the 3rd print is a better bet. I like that cover a lot more and the print run on the 3rd print is probably lower than the first print. To be honest I can't believe there are even conversations happening about the value of X-Force comics. I remember when X-Force 1 came out. The whole thing kind of turned me off to collecting comics for a long time.
Are we really still having conversations about print run vs. demand?

WTH? That book has been mentioned numerous times on here and it never sold for more than $5 in the past.

the Last Days issue of Ms. Marvel won't be out until October...kind of cutting it close....anyone notice any unknowns on the cover the All New Point One coming out in October?
I think they're being secretive about some of the content. Could be that they're just looking to generate sales by speculators
Will the new hulk be on it?

Actually $82.17, there is a BIN for $98.
Boscoe was correct: C $90.00
Approximately US $67.64
It is beyond me why people run auctions in the month of August. With Back to School and other things going on (conventions), unless you are really strapped for cash, do not run auctions. Just a terrible idea. But hey, I've picked up quite a few things this month so....
You're not counting shipping. If the same book closed for $10 with $60 shipping would you say it sold for $10?
The two books I compared had different shipping prices, thus I added the shipping to get a comparable total.

Krighton snagged some for free in one of those giving tree threads. Good grab !
You can grab them for free even...I hope anyone paying a premium for CM 17 2nd isn't expecting a full length story starring Ms. Marvel. The prices of the 1st full appearance seem to be dropping...at least the regular cover.Where are you finding them for free?
Ah, I refer to that as a "Divad Outlier"

Cover A setting new records.
must be the news of a volume 2, or on going earlier this week.
This reminds me of the Last of Us run up a couple of years ago. .
Last of Us was based on a video game and is slated to be a movie though.

First appearance of Moondragon. Thanos tie-in.
1st appearance of Madame MacEvil, who later becomes Moondragon.

I hope the spec is true. I love the Jason Todd/Red Hood story line. 635 is one of the few books I buy every time I find them at a reasonable price. Very under valued book for a long time IMO and can see it exploding if Red Hood hits the screen one day.
It already has.
Hmmm maybe. I am leaning towards its current selling price as heating up. It's been said they have big long term plans for Red Hood. I can see it going much higher than its currently selling for. If Red Hood actually winds up in a live action film I see no reason it won't become a $100+ raw book IMO.
Brings up an interesting question, what Modern book has broke the $100 mark for a movie character? Only single character I can think of is Winter Soldier. GotG, but they are a team and it wasn't any characters first appearances.
Red Hood has already been seen briefly in Gotham too...Edit: Gotham TV series**
Yes, but that character was more akin to the original Red Hood. Jason Todd is just a later iteration.

I've picked up a couple nice copies of the first Arisia. I like her prospects.
