  1. Fair enough. I would like to see both parties lower the temperature and resolve this. There is no bad guy here. Both parties made mistakes.
  2. Polonsky has just admitted that he never sent Top City his shipping address. He only included the address in the envelope with the check so @Top City Comicscould not have shipped before the check arrived due to @Polonsky 's oversight.
  3. So you claim that the agreement was for @Top City Comics to ship you the books the same day that you mailed the check but you never sent Top City your address before mailing the check. You see, there were mistakes made on both sides, so your indignation about Top City not sending the books when you sent the check was an impossibility because of your own actions. You should accept the books that you agreed to purchase. I also find your decision in the last hour to change your requested refund date from March 1st to February 20th to be problematic.
  4. @Polonsky When did you give @Top City Comics your shipping address? Did you provide the shipping address other than on the envelope in which you sent the check?
  5. I'm sorry that the transaction did not go as you had planned, but I think you are in the wrong to not accept shipment of the books if Top City agrees to ship them this week. Like I said before, the fact that you had intended to sell these books to someone else is irrelevant to your individual transaction with @Top City Comics As you have stated twice now you purchased the books with the understanding that you'd be happy with them even if your client backed out. Top City has stated he did not have your shipping address until he received the check. Of course I don't know if this is true. But you both agreed to a transaction, a certain amount for a group of books. Top City has received your payment and is prepared to ship the books. It is my personal view that you should agree to accept the books as a deal was made. However, in the interest of resolving this, @Top City Comics are you able to mail a refund by March 1st just to get this over with?
  6. @Polonsky Do you agree to receive the books if @Top City Comics ships this week? @Top City Comics Can you ship the books this week?
  7. @Polonsky @Top City Comics Sometimes transactions don't work out as we planned, but this one can be resolved rather simply. @Polonsky send @Top City Comics your address and then let Top ship you the books. Then you both can agree to never deal with each other again and move on.
  8. @Polonsky While I understand your frustration according to your side of the story; however, I have not seen a reason for you to ask for a refund. While these books may have been intended to go to your own customer, that is not relevant to your transaction. I would suggest that you agree to accept the books and move on to the next transaction.
  9. QUESTION - @Polonsky are you willing to accept the books or do you only want a refund? QUESTION - @Top City Comics by what date could you send the books or the refund?
  10. No one has a problem with you claiming the grading was inconsistent. That very well might be the case. CGC has been doing this less than a year and grading is done by people so it’s not an exact science. People have a problem with you alleging “revenge grading” because it implies that CGC intentionally and unethically punished you with lower grades because you had been asking them about your delayed submission. Accusations against CGC’s integrity were uncalled for. We all understand you were upset that the submission was delayed and your anger was exacerbated by your disappointment with the grades. But accusing CGC of intentionally hurting you is a bridge too far.
  11. This was a HA pickup a couple years ago.
  12. Both of those could make for some interesting stories.
  13. That’s just like changing the players. I approve.
  14. Changing Spider-Man’s costume makes as much sense as changing the Yankees’ uniform.
  15. I enjoyed it. I thought it was more consistently good throughout than Wonder Woman 1, but Wonder Woman 1 had a much better high point with the crossing no man's land scene. I enjoyed Max Lorde as the villain. I thought Cheetah was a little lame. I thought it was fun and I'm looking forward to the next one.
  16. A couple runs of Venom: Lethal Protector gave up their pages (but they were taken apart back when they were $1)
